Catherine and Tak are retired professional graphic artists from Toronto, Ontario Canada, parents of 2 adult sons. Tak was an illustrator for over 40 years for well known publications (The Washington Post, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, National Geographic...) and the creator of two world wide syndicated comic strips. He has now turned his hand to watercolour painting as a visual diary of our travels. An interest in nature and rural architecture is a perfect fit for our future travel. Tak also plays mandolin and guitar with a country/blues band which might help getting any hosts' "kitchen party" started!
We are previously VW-Westfalia camper van but now travel with our 2000 Roadtrek 170 which has served us well, allowing us to meet and become friends with kind and helpful folks during our travel in Ontario in the past year. We hope to continue our future trekking across the continent while collecting our memories through artwork and music. (attached are some original drawings of homes where we stayed over as guests...)
"NEW FOUNDLAND or BUST",our next big adventure from Toronto, is beginning in a few days! (with (preferably) or without shore electricity/water)
Tak is a talented illustrator and musician, Catherine knows a thing or two about computers, Mac's that is.
None so far. Just setting out on our long distance travels.

We enjoyed Catherine and Tak's visit, we're just sorry that we couldn't provide better weather! Hopefully they will get the chance to visit us again soon. Very nice couple.
We enjoyed an evening of entertaining conversation with this couple. They were a pleasure to get to know and would welcome them back any time they are in our area again.
Safe travels to you both.
