I live in north eastern Oregon 6 miles from Wallowa Lake and the Wallowa Mtns. Retired this last May 2014. I camphost around the USA in the summers. I camphosted in Seward Alaska, my first work camping job!! Been camping all my life, but only on vacations. I continue to enjoy my travelling around and staying at many beautiful spots. I love nothing better than to sit in front of a campfire with a glass of wine after eating a great meal made over the fire in cast ironware. I look forward to rainy days so I can catch up on my reading while I listen to the sound of raindrops on the metal roof of my RV. I plan to hit lots of small towns, yard sales and do some fishing in lakes and streams

Skills & Expertise to Share

I've been tinkering around with cooking over the fire with cast iron pots and pans. Lots of amazing dishes have been invented and a couple of charcoal na nas too. I have been on my own for a long while and have become pretty good at figuring out how to do lots of fix it chores while out traveling in my RV.

I have at 2002 30 ft Coachman class c motorhome. No sliders. I bought it on Ebay if you can believe that!. Had to fly to Florida to get it and drove it back to Oregon. It is everything I hoped for. I was very lucky!! I am pulling my 2017 Toyota Corolla behind me
