Taking a year off to see the country

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

We have decided to quit our jobs and live in an RV for a year, maybe two depending on how things go. Why wait until retirement? We don't have children or pets, so it's just the two of us and we love meeting people. My husband is a musician and I enjoy reading and writing. We both love to travel. I (Erin) spent a year abroad in Chile and have traveled to Greece and Israel. My husband, Eric, has been to Australia, parts of Europe and Japan. We decided it's time to get to know our own beautiful country a little better! I camped in many National Parks when I was a kid thanks to my dad but I want to rediscover them with my husband in our RV! I have started a travel blog if you want to know more: passengersidesite.wordpress.com. By the way, we don't fit into any of the age ranges. I am 38 and my husband is a very young 53.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Eric will gladly serenade you or lead a sing-along for all your friends! He's also an insurance geek (auto & home) and can answer any questions you may have. As a former Admin Assistant, I'm fairly computer savvy and a jack of all trades. I am willing to lend a hand with just about anything!

Great Couple

Very nice couple, had a nice visit with them and received some helpful information for when we start traveling. Also enjoyed morning coffee, they are welcome back anytime.

Very friendly and courteous guests

Erin and Eric were wonderful guests and we will not hesitate to host them again if the are in our neck of the woods.
