hi, i'm elle and my husband is bear. in may 2017 we sold our house and cars, bought a jeep and a motorhome, and are now making our way across North America. we're excited to visit/volunteer at sanctuary farms, discover new adventures, and escape the heat of the swampy texas gulf coast. we look forward to taking advantage of the benefits of boondockerswelcome as we ramble around. we don't have any kids or pets, it's just us. ☺️
Elle loves to cook, bake, has insane customer service skills and extensive experience in management. Because we're vegan, Elle has developed some mad skills in the realm of vegan cuisine. Bear's the techy geek of the family and has web development and project management experience.
We loooooooove boondocking!!! In fact, we boondock every chance we get! Our favorite places have been "The Main Drag 525" outside of Sedona, AZ, vista camping on Potash Rd. outside of Moab, Utah, Fortuna Pond outside of Yuma, AZ, and I have to admit I love staying behind Bear's Grandma's house when we go back to Houston to visit.
Originally from Houston, Texas, we now consider wherever we're parked our home.
1998 Safari Trek Pathmaker Vortec, 28 ft, no slide outs, 50 amp but 30 amp is also ok. We also have a jeep wrangler.
We had some interesting conversations with The Treks, enjoyed every minute of it. Hope you have a great journey! Stop by anytime.
We hosted themagictrek for 3 nights. Very nice and friendly couple. They were polite and considerate of our property and we would not hesitate to recommend them. They are welcome back at any time.
