Retired and a Truck Camper enthusiast and general tinkerer

My wife and I are retired and enjoy using our Bigfoot Truck camper to explore North America. We both love to meet new people and hear their stories. My work was of a technical/engineering nature. I like to tinker with and upgrade my camper. We have spent decades boating on the Great lakes (no longer) and truck camping east of the Mississippi. We would like to go west over the next few years.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Electrical & mechanical RV mods. Fiberglass maintenance. Finishing. Computer literate. Avoid my cooking tips.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Short term: all over Ontario eg Bruce Peninsular, Lake Huron, Prince Edward County, Lake Superior.
Long term: Newfoundland (again!) and the West.

Nomad's Hometown

Barrie Ontario. We have a small bungalow with a short double driveway. We may be able to accommodate an occasional Truck camper only. It would have to be in full stealth mode. We will see how it goes as we get familiar with this website.
