Outdoor, wine loving couple exploring the US in our 5th wheel FINALLY!

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

We are both retired (well, almost). We have no children but have a small dog we adore and travel with. We love dry camping and try to avoid RV parks whenever possible. We try to spend most of our time outdoors. We hike, kayak and relax in as many beautiful places as we can find. When we are home we enjoy boating on Lake Tahoe, evening fires outside, concerts, music, wine and long walks. There are always plenty of projects on our 2 acre property to keep us busy.

We have a very nice 2015 35 ft. Montana 5th wheel and have outfitted it with all sorts of comforts that make our travels even more enjoyable.

We are members of Harvest Hosts and have enjoyed a number of stays in some wonderful places. We are new to Boondockers Welcome and looking forward to making some new friends and seeing more new places!

True pleasure

Enjoyed very much their stay with us, I’m in awe how well they spotted their fifth wheel. Wish them well and hope to stay at their place some day.

Wonderful spot

Fantastic stop in Reno! Reno view were wonderful hosts. Very welcoming, friendly and engaging. Their place is beautiful with views of town and the surrounding mountains. We sat outside and talked and enjoyed the cooler evening temps, as it was quite warm when we were there. Then somehow a bat flew into our RV, our hosts were more than happy to go us get it out. After a couple of failed attempts to grab it by the Batman (Mr. Reno view), we opened the door and attempted to corral it out the door, it finally flew out and high fives were in order! You can't make this stuff up folks.....another reason Boondockers Welcome is so great! Thanks again to our hosts and we would highly recommend this spot.
