We are a middle aged couple with no children in the home, just a fur baby. We travel quite a bit, we have visited almost all 50 states and several countries. We hope to travel full time later in life so we are "practicing" now.
Jeff is an aircraft mechanic and collects every tool invented.
Katie is a teacher she loves photography and reading.
Together we enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, and exploring. We love our slice of paradise here in Oklahoma.
We have camped most of our life but recently purchased a class a motorhome. Her name is Fiona!
Jeff is pretty handy at fixing things and might have just the tool you are looking for. We enjoy cooking and try to use as many fresh vegies from our garden as we can.
We have a large German Shepherd, Max and a young Rottweiler, Sam.
Tulsa
Class A 1998 Fleetwood Flair No slides, well maintained, nothing crazy going on here!
This was our first time visiting the great state of Oklahoma and our host was amazing. We parked in the back field and were able to watch the neighboring cows as they moved from pasture to pasture. The host offered a few different spots to choose from and we picked out the back by a pond. Both our Verizon and AT&T service was great so we were able to get a little work done in between visits to Tulsa. We arrived from the south and if we had to do it over again we would recommend turning in from the north if you have a larger rig (we have a 42 foot fifth-wheel). Overall it was a great stay and we highly recommend!
JKBooker stay was very accommodating, friendly and inviting. We were even invited to supper and a chance to sit around a beautiful wood fire. There was another boondocker staying there also, plenty of room for the both of us. Thanks for inviting to your home JKBooker!
Jkbookers were phenomenal host they went above and beyond expectations during my short stay. I had power and water hookup even with another camper staying on site as well. Nice fire ring and farm animals on property made the scenery feel like Oklahoma as well. Downtown Tulsa has an amazing spot for kids and adults called “the gathering” and it’s all free!! I’d stay again in a heart beat.
This is a nice place to overnight. Very quiet & easy to get to. Katie met us on arrival & got us parked on a cement pad showed us where the hookups were. We talked for a short while and she was very pleasant and quick with info about the area. After a long day we didn’t visit long but enjoyed our short stay.
We enjoyed our stay with them. Jeff had to talk us how to find him since our GPS sent us to a store down the road f4om them, and he graciously let us hook up at his place since it was colder and we needed to keep the kiddos warm. was super easy and convenient spot for visiting tulsa. love the country space! thanks so much!
Host was great, I had a nice quiet visit with everything I needed.
Although we never got to meet Jeff, Katie couldn’t have been more welcoming! Perfect Oklahoma setting! Definitely staying again on our way back!
Very nice hosts, didnt get to visit much-they had other plans-but they told us about poi's in their beautiful area and we appreciated that.
This was our first boondocking experience and the first time Jkbooker had hosted someone, so we all new to this. They were excellent hosts, very easy to get along with and we spent many hours on the pack patio sharing travel stories. The site is excellent level concrete pad with power in a very quiet and relaxing countryside setting. Easy access to Tulsa and Bartlesville. Max the dog was also a very enthusiastic host. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
