We are 2 long time friends who just launched a business together in Crane & Rigging. This venture allows us to travel for long periods to meet& greet our clients across the US.
We try as much as we can to combine business & pleasure by driving through the US in our nice little truck camper.
On a personal note I did a year long travel with my family a few years ago and I have always enjoyed stopping from time to time at Boondockers places to meet & share with other travellers & hosts.
We both have 2 kids and a lovely wife awaiting for stories & memories we'll bring back home.
Oliver is a seasoned entrepreneur and certainly the fastest guy in town to build a business plan-): You may also see him doing his yoga routine in the morning. We'll be glad if you want to join us for an energetic yoga session.
We do not have pets but we love them!
There are too many - it's always been great!
We are initially from south regions of France but we have been living in different countries such as Finland & Canada. Right now we are based with our families in Montréal, Quebec
Our camper van is a 1987 Dodge RAM Van B250 (19 ft)
We had the good fortune to have Jeremy, Aurelie and their boys as our first Boondockers guests.
As residents of rural New York State, opportunities to meet people of other cultures are rare.
Their English is far better than our French.....
We immediately hit it off with them. Just all around good people.
We shared meals every evening along with good conversation, laughs, wine and home brewed beer.
One of their sons entertained us with his ukulele.
Mary Ann and I have made new friends this week, and hope to see them again some day.
We wish them well on their journey home!!
Very nice family. It was short visit but they would be welcome to come back any time!
We enjoyed having the Poste family stay with us one night. They are a very pleasant, quiet couple with two sweet young boys. They are welcome back anytime.
This was an education in Language... French is their first language and I flunked French in HS... But it was fun. We invited them to join us for chicken enchiladas and all went well. We are now a little more 'world travelers'. If you have an opportunity to host them, you will enjoy it...
Was a pleasure to have hosted these folks, would do it again anytime. Hope you make it to Baja.
The Poste Family is a quiet but energetic and funny family, during conversations it was interesting to hear stories of there travels and stories about the previous countries they have lived in, and who can forget Grinding Nemo. They are welcome anytime.
This was fun... Great family, super conversation, a little bit of wine, Chicken Enchiladas.
Our Dog Violet was devastated when they drove away. I think they boys had a new friend that was big and furry..
Really cool that they found us via some previous boondockers.. I guess we provid a good environment for people to stay in...
We wish the Poste family safe travels...
"Poste family" showed up in the late afternoon and spent the night. We enjoyed some wine together and the boys played around their rig. We must have been having a good time as we talked for hours. A very nice young couple on a wonderful adventure with their boys. Any one would enjoy their company, a very nice couple.
We hosted this family and as always I find it a rewarding experience for us. I would recommend hosting this family to anyone at anytime. I wish them the best and hope they make Canada their permanent home country.
