Lisa and Rod use their RV as an escape pod for keeping connected to distant friends and family, reminding ourselves of the vast diversity of people/culture/landscapes outside of our daily life, and experiencing new people and places. We tend to be slow travelers with a very laid back nature. We love the journey as much or more than the destination. Our previous "RV" was a 37' Sailboat which we cruised in the Bahamas and Caribbean for two years as full-timers.
Lisa is a full time professional project manager with over 25 years of Information Technology, Training, Corporate Event, and Operations experience. She additionally fills the role of vessel Admiral and Chief Nutritionist, as well as Co-Navigator.
Rod is the President and Principal of a business valuation and merger and acquisition advisory firm. He is a Certified Management Accountant, Certified M&A Intermediary, and holds various other credentials. Rod is the vessel Captain, Chief Engineer, and Co-Navigator.
Buddy is a mini Labradoodle. He gets a bit nervous if out of sight of the Admiral. He is much more interested in the destination than the journey.
B.B., a pure black Manx with green eyes, is the House Cat. Probably the best traveler of us all as he is content just laying around in the coach.
Rod enjoys outfitting and re-fitting vessels - both land and seafaring.
We like to spend time in the McCall Idaho area or the family property in Tamarack (Donnelly). We have made recent trips to Santa Barbara, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle.
Lisa and I grew up in a small rural town in Southwest Idaho called Kuna. After high school we went to college at the University of Idaho (where Lisa earned her BS in Marketing) and The College of Idaho (where Rod earned his BBA in Accounting).
Our rig is a 2015 Coachmen Prism, 25' Class C on a Sprinter Chassis. Our "toad", when attached, is a 2013 Fiat 500.
