We are a fun family, We have 2 miniature schnauzer dogs that are well behaved, gentle and spend most of their time in doors. We have extensive experience in Real estate, home improvement and rental property management. We like to travel with our 5th wheel toy hauler. Sometimes we bring a motorcycle and really enjoy the camping adventures. This summer we plan a 5000 mile road trip to Las Vegas Nevada and back and hope to meet nice people along the way. On this trip we do not anticipate having time for the bike so just the family and the dogs. We will be visiting family and friends in 4 states and national landmarks in many others.
I am pretty handy with home repair, light plumbing, electrical and even Air Conditioning repair. These skills have come in handy as a land lord...
Yes we have 2 miniature schnauzer dogs. The big ine is 18 lbs and they are bothe friendly
We like to travel from the mountains to the coast and anywhere we can see new things and meet nice people.
We live in Clayton NC. That is just east of Raleigh NC only a few minutes off of I95
2020 Entegra Emblem 3 slides... We have on board water, a black tank and 2 grey water tanks, a generator and have made do in the wal-mart parking lot for a quick overnighter. Of 22 days on the road we only used commercial hook ups in 3 locations for a total of 4 nights. we are flexible and adaptable.
Nice couple that we would recommend you host.
Great couple with two friendly dogs. Don’t hesitate to host them. They are considerate, helpful and communicated their arrival time.
Very nice family and well behaved dogs. We enjoyed our campfire chats and really having them stay here.
Very nice couple running one day behind. They are welcome back anytime.
Very friendly nice family with two wonderfully friendly digs. Wouldn't hesitate to have them pack.
Our time at Rodman's location was just great. We had absolutely everything we needed.
I wish I had been informed about the best way to enter this property ahead of time. So let me help any other person that will be staying here.
If u are entering from the east and would be entering the construction entrance on the right, which is the next driveway after the house entrance with the address on it, go past it and make a right turn on to the next street. Go down abt a 1/2 mile and make ur first left on the next street and go for another 1/2 mile then make a left on highway 96 & turn left into the driveway!!
I ended up not being able to make the turn into the driveway in my 37’ Motorhome and towing a car so go stuck in the road holding up traffic for abt 7 mins til I could detach my car and move it and then get the motorhome in.
Other than that issue-it was peaceful and met another nice coupke staying there.
Thanks for the stay,
Enjoyed the stay! Thanks Rodman2000! If staying with a large rig, then you might have to go past the entrance and come back and enter from the West side (easy turn around).
We unfortunately got stuck in the field but host was very nice about it.
Would stay again.
When I called the day of arrival to tell Rodman that I would be late, he told me he would be leaving before I arrived. He took the time to make sure I knew how to get into the narrow angled driveway and where the best spot was to park. He was using the 50 amp plug, but let me know there was a 20 amp plug available.
Very quite, mostly level. Ground was a little soft due to all the recent rain, but I had no problems.
This place was really serene and beautiful. There was a farm across the street and the views coming down the road were breathtaking. My host was easy to communicate with and told me where the hookup was. Super friendly and easy going. If you want to be in nature this is a great spot.
Mr. Rodney was not available to meet with but he stayed in perfect contact by phone helped us with pictures and guidance even helped this newbie with Generator problems over the phone. Was very pleasant and helpful. We'll be back if he is agreeable.
Lot is over grown, and road is overgrown. Road going in has no sign. Nowhere to turn around so you have to drive along 3-4 mile sandy rutted road.
