We retired early and went sailing on our Passport 47' sailboat named Chessie. Up and down the entire East Coast, the Intracoastal Waterway, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Nova Scotia, and the Florida Keys, where we anchored (boondocking on water) for 9 years. Then, we purchased a townhome in Hampton Roads, Virginia, renovated it, and continued sailing to New England during the summers. In Spring 2012, we purchased a traveling van to start seeing the USA.
At the current time we are prohibited from parking 'rv' vehicles in our location. We are working to change that mentality.
Jack is a professional engineer and works on the home, Chessie, the sailboat, and Squirrely, the van. Beverly enjoys cooking.
We purchased our rig, a used Great West, class B built in 2000. Jack fixed what needed fixing and in July we're planning our first trip to the Colorado area.
