We are a Vancouver Island couple who love our quiet rural lifestyle. Bought our motorhome a few short years ago and love to get away. He still works and she is busy with our property but still find the time to go on epic journeys (Utah, Arizona, Baja, etc.) and explore our own backyard.
Yes. We are proud parents of Ripley, who loves travelling in her motorhome!
Vancouver Island and the B.C. Interior. Oregon Coast, Utah, Grand Canyon and Baja, Mexico.
We both grew up in Campbell River, British Columbia but have lived and worked in Port McNeill and the Yukon. Our home in Black Creek is located halfway between the towns of Courtenay/Comox and Campbell River on Vancouver Island.
We own a Newmar Canyon Star with three slide-outs. Equipped with extra batteries and solar, we are mostly self-contained and rarely use our generator except to make popcorn in the micro! We tow our Honda Fit with our kayaks on longer trips.
We stayed at Pergasus acres 2 nights because of a slight change of plans and it was no
Trouble at all. Trish is a very nice host and we had a nice talk and die get to know a little bit about one another. We met their friendly dog and they have a wonderful place to stay. A pity they are moving out. Thanks a lot for your hospitality. You were our first boondocking experience. Good luck for you in the exciting time to come. Rob and Marian from the Netherlands
I can't thank you enough for the kind hospitality and wonderful laughs we had while watching the humming birds and Robin attend to the babies. I just wish I could of stayed another week! (grin). I certainly hope to meet up again and stay longer. Thank you so much.
I was lucky enough to stay with them in Black Creek for two nights. I was warmly greated and felt very comfortable with them. Lots of good information too.
Thank you so much.
Wow! Where to begin...Magicbus are very friendly, generous, fun, and we immediately felt at home. They both are natives of the island and openly shared which made our time on the island a wonderful experience. Their place is beautiful and you feel like you are staying in a park. As new friends we look forward to hearing of their travels and our paths crossing again.
