I go by Dick, am an active pilot, SCORE volunteer, serve on local non profit boards. Skier, music lover, hiker, still help our son and daughter in law with their running of Timberlock, a summer family vacation resort on Indian Lake in the Adirondacks. My wife has Alzheimers but is still doing quite well and we are able to travel and boat. This summer we will be heading west with a friend in our truck camper. Also do a fair amount of woodworking in my barn shop. As a former resort owner, there is not much in the way of people and families that we have not experienced. We like people. Have also done a fair amount of boating in our pocket trawler on Lake Champlain and as far as the Bahamas.
Just about anything mechanical, plumbing, electric, wood, fiberglass. Have build boats. Have a complete mechanic and woodworking shop on the farm.Lousy cook and lousy computer skills.
This will be our first summer traveling with our new rig. Montana with friends is out primary destination.
2017 Ford 350 Dually with a 2017 HOST Mammoth camper which has three slide outs.
Great place to stay, very quite. We did not get to meet the owners.
Sundown Farm has a great setup for boondocking, is quick to reply and a pleasure to stay with. Bonus view too.
Sundown Farm was an amazing location in an amazing place, one of the loveliest in the country – so generous and such a pleasure talking and getting to know them, albeit too briefly. hope to see them again!
Beautiful scenery , nice people, Sundown Farm could not do enough for us. Showed us around, helped me to park in the right location. Thank you.
We only spent two nights, but the weather and the location was splendid. Not only did our host meet us upon our arrival, but he suggested some places we could visit. I would recommend this place while visiting Vermont.
