We both enjoy hiking, reading, exploring on our Honda Helix, and learning about local culture and history. We travel in a 22ft 2008 Adventurer class C. We have installed 200 watts of solar and have upgraded our batteries so that we are pretty self-sufficient. We prefer country over city, back roads over turnpikes, slow over fast, local over corporate, homemade over pre-packaged food, and visiting local farmer's markets over supermarkets.
We both come from rural roots. Jim grew up on a dairy farm in Chilliwack BC, Judy was born in Quesnel BC and spent her childhood outside in the Cariboo.
Experience RV solar and with most RV mechanical systems. Jim is a refrigeration technician and a gasfitter.
N'kwala, a forestry rec site on hwy 7 in BC, borders the Coldwater river, has some picnic tables, pit toilets, and you can visit for up to 14 days free.
Cochise Stronghold in Southeastern Arizona near Wilcox, Gunsite Wash Blm south of Ajo in Arizona.
Kamloops BC. We have lived in Kamloops for 22 years. We recently retired from a heating and cooling business and enjoy working in our gardens when not in our RV. We hope to develop an RV site on our own property in the future.
2008 Adventurer class C, 22 feet,no slides, with hitch carrier to carry our 250 Honda Helix scooter. We have 200 watts of solar on the roof. We can go about a week without visiting a sanidump or requiring more fresh water. We will spend 2017 summer on the prairies, then hope to spend the summer of 2018 visiting the East Coast.
