Pull a Happier Camper HC1 at a whopping 9 feet long. Love getting away on scenic roads and finding a quiet place to set up camp for a few days.
Sometimes travel with our Newfoundland Charlotte. Mike does sports PR, mostly American football and soccer. Jen works in digital technology. Both in our early 50s and practice transcendental meditation.
We are both good cooks. Mike can help you with PR and Jen can talk about websites, ecommerce and digital asset management if that's of interest! Always interested in connecting with fellow TM practitioners.
Yes - three dogs.
Always looking for what will become our favorite!
Providence, RI - we are just sorting out what we can support at our new place so TBD on hosting anyone for a bit.
Our HC1 is a small, light fiberglass unit built in 2016 out of Happier Camper in LA. It's got a retro look and feel to it - top half is white and bottom half is blue. Lots of cool little features - easiest to see them on happiercamper.com - it's a great website with videos on all the options. We do have the dry flush toilet and containment for the sink water so all requirements met!
My family and I had a wonderful time at Charlesdaisy's place. They were welcoming, helpful and really friendly with the kids. There house is perfectly situated in a gorgeous and quiet Boston suburb, not to far from a subway. To add to the pleasure, we slept under an historic tree..! Thank you so much, we had a really great time!
Such a great location, just outside of Boston. Cute neighborhood. Thanks Mike and Jen!!
I slept like a baby in this great little neighborhood a few miles from Boston. I also had the pleasure of taking a walk with my dog in their pretty neighborhood. It's so beautiful and the architecture of the houses is amazing. I was there for only one night but would have liked to spend more time there and have the chance to talk more with Mike and also meet Jen's. I highly recommend their spot.
Close to Boston. Public transport to the city center only a few minutes away. The hosts are great, inclusive son and mum. We had a short visit from mike in our RV. Very interesting and a very sympathetic host. Many thanks for everything! We enjoyed very much.
Perfect spot to pull in for the night. Easy parking on a night car long drive on a quiet street. and although I didn’t meet hosts in person, they were great super accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!
The space is suitable for a small rig. Mike and Jen are very kind and I felt welcomed by these gracious people. The subway station is a short walk to go into Boston. They have one of the largest dogs I have seen. Thanks again Mike and Jen.
Mike and Jenn's driveway was perfect for a visit to Boston. It was so simple to get into the city on the metro line. Our hosts were the best , very generous with their time and information, they even had an information card printed up with the metro line and the correct stops. They were wonderful!! Thanks for all the extras!!! Would love to come back some day!
My stay at Mike and Jens home was lovely. It is situated in a beautiful neighborhood and very close to the coast. Unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to meet Jen but my interactions with Mike were great. I would definitely stay again!
From the moment we sent a message to Mike and Jen, we knew they would be great hosts. They are both friendly and warm, offering great advice on the area and what to do. Their driveway is great, level and easy to access, very convenient to the red-line for quick access to downtown Boston. They also offered their yard to let our dogs stretched and a hot shower, which were the icing on the cake!
If you're going this way, check them out.
Thanks guys!
Great stay. Friendly Host. Appreciated the parking spot, had a great night, hope to return again soon
As our first site in boondocking, we highly recommend them. Great hospitality and very helpful. We only stay for one night but we really appreciated the hosts and the beautiful site. Thanks to them for this first great experience in boondocking !
Great hosts - very friendly/hospitable and helpful when it came to recommending places to see and things to do in Boston! Would love to host them when we are back in Washington.
I was able to stay a few days with these delightful people. They were very helpful in regards to places of interest and were more than willing to provide electric and water. Interesting conversations. If I come through here again I'll definitely try to stay with them.
