My wife and I live in Waltham, Massachusetts, about seven miles from Boston. She is a scientist/medical researcher by day; I am the owner of a real company I started five years ago after a long, high-pressure career as an executive in financial services. We've both traveled extensively and typically take a month off in the fall to visit our family in Southern China. My own travel experience is eclectic, including a bicycle trip from Berlin to Prague and several weeks as part of a research project monitoring the health of dolphin populations in the Mediterranean. But nothing makes us happier than jumping into our Roadtrek to take a weekend away in New England, or even window shopping at Walmart. Our tastes are simple; we enjoy meeting folks who enjoy the country life. We've never met a farm animal we didn't like ;)
We're not afraid to pitch and help-- tell us what you need. A little gardening labor? Check. Getting up at dawn to help you feed the animals? Sure.
