Acreage in rural subdivision, 10 miles South of Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada June through August are the best months to RV in Yukon. We have beautiful walking trails along Wolf Creek close by and are happy to take visitors walking. Our yard is occasionally visited by wild animals such as bears, fox, moose, lynx and deer. We have a large garden and nice yard that we are willing to share. Suggested Local Attractions:Yukon River is nearby and many water sports are available; fishing; canoeing; kayaking. Our community is in beautiful mountains with world class hiking and mountain biking trails within easy distance. Whitehorse has several museums and interesting first nation and gold rush history; a lively arts and music community, great shopping and recreational facilities.

Retired professional couple. Details: We built and have lived in this home 40 years. Our careers were in Wildlife and GIS mapping. We walk, hike, bicycle, paddle and are interested in natural history, plants and animals. We have four adult children, two living near Whitehorse and two in Alberta. Life is GOOD! Home Town: Our home has been in Whitehorse for 48 years. This is a busy, interesting and beautiful place. We love to share our love of Yukon with visitors. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Although we have hosted many folks, we have only stayed twice at another host location. We hope to avail ourselves of the opportunity one day soon. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are fairly knowledgeable about local trails, wildlife and arts scenes and always happy to share.

Our hosts here were such nice people and enjoyed our conversations. Easy access with our 30' 5th wheel and conveniently located close to Whitehorse. Thanks so much.

We stayed for three nights and loved it! The hosts were very nice and accommodating, and we really liked the area. Close to Whitehorse, but in a quiet and peaceful area. We really enjoyed a local forest trail that we found on a walk from the house.
