Flat, shady in PM, gravel driveway alongside my house on a dead-end street. Neighbors along the side very nice. I will park my car & RV on the street while you use my spot(s). I am here "whenever", as i am retired. Municipal water hookup on the driveway on the house. 110 exterior plug-in on house. I have garbage & recycle bins you may use as well, right there. Big backyard is fenced perfectly, enough to keep in my 11-lbers.....and work when i had labs as well. You may have use of it when mine are inside or with me. (They go everywhere I go).
RE-Latch all gates...i too have dogs! Plug in & use electricity as neighbors are quite near.
I am on a dead-end street just a mile from I-95. All roads paved, my gravel driveway has a fairly steep but short incline up to the level area.
Dead end short street, parking free.
I am retired, make my own time.
Mystic Seaport, Nautilus Museum, Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods Casinos, the ocean (various beaches) Windjammer Cruises, New London Sailfest, Mystic Art Show, etc etc etc. 1 hour or less drive each from Providence, New Haven and Hartford. Also easy access to Amtrac and ferries to all the Islands in the Sound.
Lovely front cottage garden. Fenced rear yard access for our small dog to run. Close to Navy submarine base and local beaches. Hostess met us, made certain we had our comforts, pointed out some local interests, and then gave us our privacy. Thanks for the hospitality!
Anne was so much fun to talk with and so offering of everything, even taking our trash off our hands. Water bottles really mount up. Very quiet and dark.
We were so honored to be Anne's first boondockers! She might surprise you - especially if her dog Charlie gets loose upon your arrival - but don't let that scare you!! She is a wonderful hostess, has an amazing gift of "do it yourself" ability (as reflected in her warm and inviting home and property), and has the cutest little doggies, Wendy and Charlie. We stayed with her one night and took our RV on the Long Island Sound Ferry from New London, CT to Orient, Long Island, NY the next morning (a little pricey - $78 - but well worth it). This was a wonderful place to stay with an equally wonderful hostess!! Looking forward to seeing you, Anne, when you come to Michigan!! Thanks so much!
