Loved the beautiful location, and host could not have been nicer or more accommodating! Great conversations on subjects that we are both passionate about! I had such a great peaceful sleep in this quite mountain home. Hope to get back next year and if they are not out traveling, I would love to spend some time exploring the area. Lots to see and do, especially if you like the outdoors. Parking site was level and easy to just drive thru. A perfect Boondocker’s stay!
Great overnight stop!!! We enjoyed visiting at length with our hosts. AND they were wonderfully helpful with (1) travel tips for interesting sites in Maine and (2) help with a challenging change of a headlight lamp. Great company and great location!
What a lovely place to stay. I was backed in so that my front window faced the forest. 30 amp and water. It felt like I was all by myself in the woods. My hosts were amazing. My dogs had the use of their spacious fenced back yard and I could sit on their lovely screened back porch to watch the sunset when it wasn't raining. They helped me suggestions of places to go sightseeing, restaurants, and even found an RV repairman for me when my fridge quit chilling. Very friendly folks who greeted me with a smile and cheery " good morning!" every day.
We stayed 3 nights with these folks. The weather wasn’t great during our stay, but everything else was perfect! The site is gorgeous, and they offered 30 amp electric and water. Nearby Wolfeboro and Lake Winnipesaukee were lots of fun, in spite of the weather. The best part, though, was the hospitality, advice, and companionship of the hosts! They are very interesting people who have a lot of travel and activity experience, and they gave us so much useful information! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit with them again sometime. We highly recommend this location!
They both treated us so nice. They gave us good advice on where to go in the area and even took us to a local swimming hangout when we got there. They.nicely helped us position our rig for
optimum view and gave us good advice for future rig use. Lots of room to move around plus a nice walking path for the dog. Good conversation and good people.
Wow, what can I say, Lindsay and Amy are the best!! I showed up with my rig and a 20ft car trailer which we had to break apart to get me turned around, but using their pick up it was a breeze. Great location, nice flat parking, super quiet at night, and the warmest friendliest hosts you can imagine. My first experience with Boondockers Welcome was a home run for sure!!
We were supposed to stay with Mable13 for three days, but we just had to stay for four and had the absolute best time! The hosts are so welcoming and gracious and make you feel right at home. Luckily for us, they had some extra time so we got a wonderful tour of the area. This is a fantastic location, BEAUTIFUL site and wonderful town. We became fast friends and feel like we've known them forever. We plan to stay in touch and hopefully be back in the area to stay again. We can't recommend them enough!!! You won't be disappointed, unless you aren't able to make it to this fantastic location.
We stayed with Mable13 for several days, and the location was the best! This was our first time at a Boondockers Welcome site and we were totally impressed. They had many suggestions about local sites. Activities included an afternoon floating in a nearby lake, a day driving around the countryside taking in all the beautiful views, covered bridges, downtown, and history of the area. There is a short walking trail on the beautiful property, and the evening sky is full of stars – you can even watch the fire-flies. We know we will visit see these two again and hopefully in the not too distant future. Thank you for such a perfect camping spot with fire-pit and rock seating. Even our dogs had a great time! Thanks again.
We spend a very quiet night. Very friendly people.
They made available all commodities and take time for us.
Thanks a lot for all.
Hope to see you next time.
Cheers
We were very pleased with the site when we arrived. It was level, and a very scenic location. The hosts were very accomodating and have created a wonderful location to share with others who travel.
We hope to visit again in the future!
We stayed with Mable13 for a few days, they were our first hosts and were spectacular. So willing to share knowledge and help accommodate us and our rig. We hope to see them again in our journeys! They set a high bar for our future boondockers welcome friends!
We enjoyed our visit so much we had to return again! Another campfire with good conversation, and our hosts even arranged to have the smoke go away from us! More walks, another free outdoor concert in town, fresh veggies....I love this place, and the hosts! Thank you for making us feel so welcome! We look forward to when we meet again.
My husband and I had such a great visit with these folks that we couldn’t stay away! We returned for another great visit, including campfires, great conversation, and even fresh veggies from their garden. This home is one of our top recommendations. Thank you so much!
We stayed with these gals for several days, and the location and company was the best! We shared conversation over a campfire each evening, followed up on many suggestions about local sites, went blueberry picking together, and will probably do a canoe paddle together in a nearby lake before we leave. There is a short walking trail on the beautiful property, and the evening sky is full of stars since there are no city lights (or noises) close by. We did hear coyotes several times, and the red fox we saw was beautiful. And then there was the banana bread......! We hope to see these two again in our travels, as we enjoyed them so much! Thank you for such a perfect parking spot, complete with electricity and wifi, and most of all, friendship.
