My wife and I live in a small town called Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, a 45 min. ferry ride from Vancouver Canada. We are Snowbirds and like to RV in California for the winter months. We got caught up in the Pickel Ball craze and play in tournaments in Canada and USA and we have a great time traveling and playing. Home Town: We live in Sechelt, BC. Canada, a short ferry ride from Vancouver Favorite Boondocking Locations: We travel around between Vancouver Canada and Southern California and open to exploring all over. Wonderfully quiet stop at the only host on the sunshine coast of BC. Wayne greeted us and we had a pleasant chat about what was best to see along the road up to Powell River. Turns out we happened here during the late October Art Crawl studio tour so we had several great stops at artists studios the next day. The road up to this host is a bit steep, but since you have been driving the sunshine coast road, it is none too difficult! The gravel parking area is flat with shore power right next to the RV. A great stop for the night, thank you Wayne and Pauline for hosting us.

A very accessible parking site, where he offered both water and 15 amp electricity. I chatted with him for about five min. then we both returned to our homes. When I left the next morning, I left a thank you card with $10 Canadian for the W & E.

We are so grateful to Wayne and Pauline, for their hospitality and their wonderful suggestions of things to do while in Sechelt. Because of them we stayed an extra 2 days in the area. Thank you both again, we are very grateful.
