We are on Blue Mountain in Linden, VA near the Appalachian Trail and approximately 75 miles Southwest of Washington, DC. We are about 10 miles from Exit 13 on I-66 and 23 miles from I-81. We grow our own fruit and vegetables while our chickens provide fresh eggs. Limited WiFi is available for checking and sending email.
There are 2 miles of windy, gravel/dirt private roads leading to our 5 acre property. These roads are often full of ruts and potholes. Four-wheel drive is recommended in muddy or icy weather. Driving over these roads is not for the faint of heart, but we have no problem getting our 25' RV in and out.

Despite no electricity or water this is a very quiet, private, peaceful place to spend the night. Make sure to use Google maps for directions and make sure your shocks are in good shape. The ride up is full of fantastic views, gorgeous homes, and frequent elbow turns. If you love a private experience, this is the perfect place for you.
It is def off the beaten path but once you get there it's a wonderful location in the mountains. Beautiful land and even better people. I had a great time in the area and hopefully can come back sometime in the future. Thanks for the hospitality.
