This space can accommodate truck campers, class B campers, and small class C's under 25 feet only, since access to the property has tight turns and overhanging trees. No travel trailers or class A motor homes will fit into the space. Parking space requires backing into the space, but this is fairly easy for 2 axel vehicles up to 25 feet long. We can provide 15 amp electric service via an extension cord, and a water connection via a long hose. There is no sewer connection at the parking space. Anything in tow would need to be parked on the road and disconnected before the camper turns up our driveway. Suggested Local Attractions:30 minutes to just about everything in the Atlanta area, including the international airport, zoo, aquarium, theaters, museums, parks, downtown Atlanta, sporting events, universities, hospitals, historical sites, etc.

Location
Access Road Conditions: This is an older subdivision in an urban location, about 6 miles from downtown Atlanta and about 1.5 miles from an exit on a major highway. Numerous restaurants and a supermarket are within 1 mile. Parking on our property is only suitable for truck campers and class B campers with nothing in tow. Small class C campers up to 25 feet will also fit. Anything in tow will have to be detached and parked on the street. There is somewhat of a slope from side to side on the parking site, so leveling blocks might be handy if this is an issue for the guest. The hosts can assist with leveling. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We are only able to park on our property Truck Campers, Class B campers, and Class C campers under 25 feet long. We are unable to accommodate travel trailers on our property, although they could park on the street for one or two nights. Automobiles in tow may be parked on the street if disconnected from the towing vehicle.

We are a couple easing our way into retirement Details: We are starting to travel more and work less as we begin to ease ourselves into retirement. Elaine is a clinical psychologist and Jim is an educator and business owner. Torn between traveling and staying at home to enjoy our koi pond (converted from a swimming pool), our longer term goal is to split our time equally between the two. But for now we are only traveling weeks, not months, each year. We typically seek destinations that provide a good dose of nature and wildlife, but urban landmarks and museums also attract us. Home Town: Originally from New Hampshire, we moved to Georgia, in 2010. Skills or Expertise to Share: Jim enjoys cooking and is handy with a toolbox. Elaine loves to strike up conversations with all kinds of people.

I would love to stay, but have had no response from the owners. Have attempted 2 reservations, with availability showing on the calendar... disappointed, but I am a guest not an owner. Hoping all is good.

We had a good 2 night stay. It is a little tricky parking and getting level. We never got level but we were level enough to make everything work. The location was great as it was very convenient to Truist Park to see the Braves. James met us on the first day and we had no issues. Site is best for a van, our 24 ft Class C pushed the limit.

Jhdricker was an amazing host. Communication was a breeze! We met and chatted for a while when I first arrived and was offered power and water hookups, although I only needed power. My RV is a 20' Sprinter van and I had no problem backing up into the space. The neighborhood is quiet (heard owls at night), nice for walking in the evening, and I and always felt safe. At the end of the road (driving distance) are restaurants, and a grocery store is not far away. A super convenient location for exploring in Atlanta. I couldn’t have been any happier. Thank you!

Close enough to Atlanta sights, but far enough away to be in the quiet. GReat host-welcomed me, provided electric and then gave privacy. Would recommend-heck, I might just stay next time I'm in town!
