This is a small farm in Lehi, Utah. It is located about 20 miles south of Salt Lake City and 20 miles north of Provo, Utah
No smoking on property. No running generators with out prior approval
The drive way is up a hill. It is gravel.
Would need to be pretty much in the same location as towed vehicle.
Best times to have a spot here is probably April thru October. Sometimes when there is either an early or late snow storm, it is not easy to get up our drive way. We would definitely need advance message about any desired arrivals.
American Fork Canyon is beautiful to visit. BYU Campus is not far south. Walmart shopping ctr as well as Lowes and Home Depo nearby for food or equipment. There are also two RV places close by if repairs or other equipment is needed.
Caroll is a lovely host. We spent two nights and she gave us good advices.
It was nice to discuss with her!
Our boys were happy to play trampoline and to feed the horses!
We had a great experience in Lehi thanks to Carol and her family who have been really nice hosts. We enjoyed the view of Utah Lake from their yard and got yo visit the bridal Vail falls from their house. Thanks for receiving us ! It was really nice meeting you.
Carol has been a fantastic host to accommodate me considering the bad weather forecast. I was lucky enough to benefits from her advise as to which Utah parks to visit and some tricks about travelling frugal. The farm is located in the middle of a new constructed neighborhood, close to all services and with a fantastic view of the lake and the mountains to the west. If you like farm animals, you will be served with 2 dogs, at least 2 cats, 5 horses and 12 hens. Fresh eggs were exquisite.
Thanks again Carol for your warm welcome.
I stayed here on Sept 15 2017 for one night.
It is a quiet place and a great place to stay. The host is very nice and likeable. She even let me sit on her porch and practice my banjo. She is very helpful and fun to talk to. I recommend this place and hope I get to stay here again as I travel from Texas to the rocky mountain states every year. Thanks for a nice visit.
The whole family had a wonderful stay. Our host was very nice and the farm was quiet.
The kids loved playing around.
We spent a wonderful time in AFShore's farm and with her. Our kids were so happy overthere in the farm! The place is great and quiet. She made us very confortable, so nice person! Thanks again!
We contacted her the morning of. She responded that evening. She gave us wonderful directions. Her and her 2 big dogs greeted us to make sure we found her place. Her place is so peaceful and quiet. The parking was level, and we had a wonderful night's sleep. We hope we can see her again.
I can't begin to say enough about this family. They are so kind, helpful, respectful, generous and fun. I was lost and they came out to find me at night and lead me in.While there I got to enjoy the beautiful peaceful setting. She was so gracious with my dogs, allowing them to run free and enjoy the open space. She and her friend took me out driving, showing the local parks and sites which was delightful. Then she gave me farm fresh eggs to take on my travels, yummy A real treat. She and her nephew went out of their way to help me locate a service center to fix my brakes, with her even leading me there in her car.I was so blessed to have come to her home.I would definitely recommend AFShore to anyone wanting to stop in here.
Thank you for the warm welcome by yourself and the animals :) We enjoyed going out for dinner with you and your friends and gained so much information about the good places to see along our travels. Your location is spectacular and thank you for sharing it with us. Hope to be back another day! Ruth and Steve
Wé spent a pleasant time. We will never forget the warm welcome we had. Suggestions were very helpful, do not hesitate if you are next to this place. Merci beaucoup pour l'accueil, nous avons vraiment aimé ce moment en votre compagnie.
Kind, smart, funny, well read, extensive experiences and a warm heart. That's how we would describe our host. If you are in the Salt Lake area you will be missing a treat if you don't stop here.
We had a great night in front of the house. Next to the place being nice and quiet we had a great time exploring the farm. Our host is a wonderful lady and we are very happy to have met her. The kids even got to ride a horse, pet the dogs and find eggs in the barn, which they loved. Next to that we got some great advise on a campsite near Yellowstone, which we are enjoying at the moment! Thanks again and hopefully we will meet again some day!
