Enjoyed our stay with this lovely family. They helped us with parking late in the evening. Nice area in the countryside. Newly paved road was an added bonus.
A wonderful place to stay. John know a lot about the island. Had a great visit talking about passed and future trips.
A great place to stay.
These folks couldn't have been more welcoming to us. We enjoyed sharing and exchanging stories in there kitchen. So much to see and do in the area. I highly recommend St. Patrick's Lighthouse and beach, a short drive from the house for scenic views and quiet walk on the beach.
The "tc rovers" are both very kind people.
It was my pleasure to visit w both of the,
I will definitely visit them again!
Thank yoi "tc rovers"!
Had a great stay! Hosts were very friendly and welcoming! We would definitely recommend Open Field for a place to stay.
Had a great stay hosts very friendly and knowledgeable of area would definitely stay again if in the area!
The road to Open Field is, indeed, "rough". But slow down and enjoy the scenery. And when you get there, you will have forgotten about the road. John and Jean are great hosts; very welcoming. And John loves to visit; he's always open for a "chat". Interesting and a native to the area so you'll learn all you want about it. The parking is easy in and out and level. Grass, next to a field. I hope to see them when I return for an extended PEI/Nova Scotia trip next year.
Our hosts we great. Good conversation and lots of good advice on where to visit. These folks are seasoned travelers
Lots to do in any direction!
Definitely a recommended stop!
Betty and I enjoyed our time with John and Jean. We highly recommend them for touring east end of PEI
John and Jean were very nice and friendly. Made us feel right at home. It was nice sharing stories with them and their daughter. They told us about different places to see and go to. Nice quiet area. If you are heading this way you will have a very quiet and peaceful evening by staying here.
J&J were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our stay with them and look forward to seeing them again when we come back.
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Took the time to communicate with us to see how we were when we ran into bad weather. We. Had a chance to share some stories with each other. They gave us lots of information about the area. Thanks so much hope to cross paths again.
Hosts were very accommodating and helpful! A great spot to stay the night!
We stayed two nights in the field next to their home. It was great to have peace and quiet and no one around after many days at crowded campgrounds. John had lots of stories, and he even drove me around in his truck to visit the oyster and mussel production areas. He seems to know everyone in the area. Highly recommended!
Overnight this is dark sky country. For a nice visit and a good night's sleep, be sure to visit truck camper rovers!
We had a wonderful stay with truck camper rovers. They are a wealth of knowledge and are so very generous and kind. Be sure you make time to visit with these folks, it will be well worth your time!
We can only be grateful for so much kindness and openness. Our hosts offered us their land, but also opened their door, and we had very nice discussions together. It's people like them who make the difference in this world!
If you want to know what to visit around, this couple has travel a lot and remember every step, it's a pleasure to listen to their advice.
For the site, a field, very easy to access, very pleasant despite the mosquitoes of spring, and especially a great silence, calm, rest!
A big thank-you. Looking forward to seeing you again.
We spent two nights (Sept 20-21) at the Truck Camper Rovers with our group of six. Hosts were very friendly and full of information. We quite enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other travellers.
Enjoyed our time visiting with Truck Camper Rovers. This was our first (and not last) experience with Boondockers and really enjoyed meeting the local people.
Very gracious hosts!
Truck Camper Rovers were GREAT hosts. This was our first "boondocking" experience and we're sold! At a campground tonight and sorry not to be back in their yard. They are so friendly and helpful - hope they can make it to Kentucky to visit us sometime.
This couple knows a lot about the area. They're wonderful, kind folks who seem to genuinely love sharing their peaceful property with guests. He shared some great stories about their travels. If you meet them, ask him to tell you the story of why there are no longer bears at African Lion Safari in Ontario.
My two Morell Hosts are one of the most pleasant, relaxed couples whom I've met on my world travels.
Their farm is so beautiful and extremely quiet; it's a paradise for writers like myself.
Their kind and generous hospitality was beyond my expectations, and I truly thank them for their kindness.
They gave me so many RV tips for which I am grateful because RVing is relatively new to me and my Hosts were genuine RV veterans. I learned so much from them!
I highly recommend Truck Camper Rovers--a delightful couple par excellence!
We stayed here and really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts are lovely hospitable people, and we enjoyed chatting about travel and things to see in PEI. They have a lovely quiet location. Thank you again for your hospitality.
We would highly recommend staying with John and Geneva as they are not only great hosts in a nice rural property BUT also shared rich history of both PEI and New Brunswick.
Sincerely The Lysters
