Double wide paved driveway can accommodate up to 30ft. Our home is situated on a beautiful tree-lined dead end street with access to bike/walking trail. Quiet neighourhood. Our home-town is dubbed “the Lobster Capital of the World”.
Be respectful of our neighbours, no loud music or generators.
On the street.
We will be going around Nova Scotia for about six weeks.
Giant Lobster, Parlee Beach, Sunday market (morning), bike and walking trails, good restaurants. Shediac Lobster Festival takes place early July. Pointe-du-Chêne wharf is also a popular attraction with tourists and locals alike and is within a few minutes drive from our home.
We enjoyed their hospitality and friendship on our first visit that we returned to see them again on our trip home.
Their friendship and hospitality was just as great as the first time.
They have a nice location near many points of interest. They are a very friendly couple and invited us to join them on a morning of biking that we enjoyed very much. Drove my wife to the local fisher market to get the best lobster that was delicious. They even lended us the eating tools for the lobster.
Thank you so much "Charlie".
Merci pour l’accueil et les information du secteur.
Vous serez les bienvenus chez nous.
Great, very warm & friendly couple, who accommodated us in their drive with power, affording us a troublefree and praceful sleep. (With bellies full of Birthday Cake. WOW!) Can't say enough nice things about them, so count them HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
We came back after two years and it was as if we had seen each other’s yesterday. Great stay in a quiet neighbourhood. Our hosts gave us a warm welcome and it’s too bad we could not stay longer. Merci to both of you.
We stayed 2 nights at Charlie 2015's place during the lobster festival. Perfect timing, perfect site and perfect hosts.
What a nice persons ! They travelled a lot and had a lot of experiences to share.
Merci de votre acceuil, vous serez toujours les bienvenues à notre cabane à sucre ( Pour des dégustations...)
We did’nt spend much time with our hosts, coming back from beach only to sleep at their quiet and easy parking spot. We enjoyed their welcoming and friendly attitude.Merci encore pour le bon accueil, à une prochaine.
We very much enjoyed visiting with our hosts who graciously offered electricity and wifi. Quiet, subdivision within walking distance of downtown. Quiet at night.
This was my first time staying with Boondockers Welcome hosts, and now I’m certain that it won’t be my last.
My hosts, Charlie2015, were so friendly and welcoming. We chatted about our travels and compared notes on our camper vans. (Theirs is almost exactly the same as mine; one year newer. 😁) They also offered suggestions for places to visit as I wander up the New Brunswick coastline on my way to the Gaspesie.
Thank you so much 😊
We met our hosts in August 2016. We were warmly welcomed and discovered that they were sailors too. During our two days, we shared stories about boating, travelling and their beautiful province.
The neighborhood is quiet and a walking distance to the local restaurants.
Danny et Diane sont de vrais acadiens et notre séjour chez eux en fut un qui restera dans notre mémoire longtemps.
Well, I feel like we have made lifetime friends after meeting these two special people. We have many things in common and they made us feel so at home. We were able to share a bike ride around town where they showed us points of interest. So hoping they will head south for a visit with us when they get back on the road.
We stayed 1 night at charlie2015 place. They have traveled a lot and have us many good plans. Their welcome is fantastic!
How is it possible that I somehow missed posting this recommendation before now? We stayed with this lovely couple and Charlie the dog late last summer. Had a great visit and a totally memorable experience. Will never forget it (even though it took me this long to realize we somehow missed posting this). If you're still planning to pass our way this year, we sure hope you'll stop by.
My husband and I stayed at this location twice this Fall and were very happy we did! Lovely area and home, nice level parking, friendly hosts ( and dog). Highly recommend visiting this site. Will be back for sure if they'll have us :)
Lovely couple and great location. Really enjoyed their company for a great evening of travel stories. Thanks for all the PEI tips and map. Hopefully we can meet again soon. Will keep in touch.
We stayed with Charlie 2015 for 2 nights in July and they were great hosts. Told us what we needed to know and answered all our questions ( we are new to boondocking). Their location is perfect and easy to get to. We definitely recommend them as hosts! Thank-you!
Excellent place to stay in Shédiac. Quiet, hosts very kind and helpful, interesting and bilingual. We feeled welcome to stay at their place located in a quiet sera. We strongly recommand Charlie2015 for those travelling on the acadian coast! Thank you Charlie2015!
We had a great stay at Charlie2015's in June. As fellow class B owners, we had lots of things to share. We enjoyed seeing and listening about their travels. Many similar interests...fantastic evening. Hope to meet up again!
My wife Angie & I stayed one night on Charlie2015's wide paved driveway on a quiet residential street in beautiful Shediac. They were very friendly and helpful. He even noticed that I had a headlight out as I parked and drove me over to the Canadian Tire store to get the replacement, then installed it! We hope to stay with them again, perhaps on our way back to Ontario in August. Highly recommended! Thank you D & D.
My Family was privileged to stay with Charlie2015 for 2 nights while we traveled around New Brunswick and PEI. Diane and Daniel were not only accommodating hosts they were also so helpful with helping us get electrical hooked up, where to dump locally and also restaurant recommendations! We felt so comfortable and just loved Shediac!
Sincerely The Lysters
