Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe are a working cattle farm raising 100% Grassfed Angus cattle on organic pastures thus no flies or odor. Our farm is clean and neat and you will be near our pond, gazebo and the cattle pastures.
We CANNOT accommodate children - (electric fences, pond, equipment and other considerations). We also can no longer accommodate dogs even if inside your vehicle.
No Rig too Big!
A dump site and municipal water is 2 miles away and FREE.
This is an operating cattle farm and while there is little danger here we can not accommodate children
We regret this new rule but our insurance company demands it!
As we have cattle we can not allow dogs on the property. Sorry no exceptions! Even the tinniest of critters will stampede cattle. Once off the property there is no way to bring them back!
Short & Long term requests are possible but in emergencies we might have to adjust - but has NEVER happened!
Guests have access to several acres surrounding the pastures, barns and gazebo HOWEVER no one may enter the pastures or open any gates!
We have sites with access to any size rig. The country road in front is blacktop and our driveway is gravel. The sites are all grass with one shady spots but only for a smaller rig.
Plenty of space on farm
Mid-Spring - Mid-Fall, contact us however before making plans

As a newcomer to the Boondockers Welcome, I was not sure what to expect. This stay exceeded anything I could have ever imagined. The setting was almost magical. We set up overlooking beautiful pastures set against trees with vividly changing leaves. Our hosts had a special event planned for us; the largest bonfire we had ever seen! They could not have been more welcoming or more hospitable. We enjoyed our stay here so much we are afraid nothing will ever be able to compare. All in all, it was the best.
It's rare to find a place where you feel totally welcome and at home instantly. We were greeted with the warmest smile and enthusiasm. Were were given a wide range of options for where to park. There was lots of laughs and lots of stories around a huge bonfire. The free electric plug was your a standard 30 amp circuit with 2 -15 amp plugs. My sister used one for their rig and we used 1 for ours. It is a beautiful property and view and we feel so lucky to have been allowed to stay for 2 nights. We hope to be back some day.
Really enjoyed our time at Black Angus Farm. Great conversation with hosts about organic farming and local area attractions. Enjoyed a fire together the first night which was a lot of fun too. Thanks again!
F and S were a very gracious hosts and a lot of fun to be around. Our conversations around the campfire was on many topics and so interesting. F has some cool stories and S holds her own with hers! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and will return some day when we are back in the area.
Safe travels in your Casita my friends! And don't forget to BYOB!🤪

This farm was so peaceful and quiet. We saw a beautiful sunset and had a nice visit around the campfire. We saw the International Space Station go by as we were admiring the brightness of the stars. Lots of laughs and friendly conversation about RV travels.
Very wonderful and welcoming hosts. Very knowledgeable about the area they live and gave us some ideas of what to do. We stayed two nights had had great conservations with them both nights. If we are back in the area would love to stay with them again.
The hosts were some of the best people I have met in a long time. They were very generous with their time and had awesome recommendations for local places to visit. If you have any interest in learning about organic farming or cattle raising they will answer any questions. I can’t wait to visit again.
Lots of space. Plenty of room for a larger set-up.
We enjoyed a wonderful stay with Fred & Sue at Black Angus Farm. They are very welcoming and generous hosts and we highly enjoyed many conversations and laughs with them. Directions to the farm were spot on and parking was ample with room for any size rig. We parked behind their pond overlooking the cattle pastures where we were entertained by the antics of their beef animals. Our parking spot was level and very quiet and peaceful. We hope our paths cross again with these wonderful folks.
We enjoyed our stay on this lovely farm and appreciated the warm welcome we received from our hosts. They gave us some suggestions of places to visit and we explored a nearby state park and were impressed with the waterfalls and the amazing beauty of the gorge. Our hosts were very friendly and they love to sit and visit with their guests!
All I have to say is wow! !
Sue and Fred go way beyond hospitality way way way beyond
I am so glad there are people left like this on the planet
I wish I could have stayed longer with this delightful couple. The location is beautiful and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed a good night's sleep withe the frogs in the pond singing lullabyes! Thank you so much!
We loved our stay on the black angus farm with Fred and Sue and their “Angel crew”. We were warmly welcomed, invited to an evening visit and then invited back the next evening for some of Sue’s homemade pie. This sweet couple will be our friends for life. Such a great experience for our first season with our rig.
We were so fortunate to stay two nights with this lovely couple, on their quiet farm. They so obviously enjoy hosting boondockers to the point where they even invited us into their well kept farmhouse for watermelon! Due to all the wet weather we experienced and my truck troubles we weren’t able to take advantage of their kind offer to enjoy their gazebo overlooking the pond. Thanks to our new friends for the gracious hosting of ourselves and our travel companions...we will always have warm memories of this visit!
This is a very sweet and social couple. They love to visit in the evening and even invited me in for supper my first night there.
Great location
Our stay at Black Angus Farm was Absolutely delightful! They were so accommodating! We had a lovely visit and an excellent time! They welcomed us warmly!
We cannot say enough for their generous hospitality! From beer thirty, education on grass fed beef, fresh herbs and so much more.
F and S was our first BW site and they spoiled us!
You both will always be in our hearts and memories forever.
Thank you!
We had such a great time with this great, hospitable couple.
We shared stories, beers and tea over a campfire. The clouds wouldn't let us see the meteor shower,
but the company more than made up for it. Would be happy to visit them again!
Thanks F & S for a lovely stay. The parking space in your field was perfect for our large 40’ motorhome and 14’ trailer. We didn’t even have to detach to turn around. It was tranquil and quiet during the night. Thanks also for the refreshments on your porch that afternoon. It was interesting to hear a bit about life on your farm. Pete loved looking over your tractor collection!
We arrived in the early evening to an incredibly friendly welcome, our hosts gave us the grand tour of their farm learning all about seed garlic production, organic produce and rotation grazing. The property is incredibly well maintained and productive even in late fall, the pastures are green and beautiful from fenceline to fenceline all without herbicides or chemicals. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and gracious we were up late into the evening enjoying wonderful conversation and tales of our travels and experiences. The evening was very quiet and restful and we awoke to the chatter of the birds in the rushes on the farm pond and South bound flocks of geese overhead. Once again we part company with our New Boondocker friends and look forward to meeting someday again down the road.
Thank you for a wonderful and very memorable visit

We stayed overnight during Labor Day weekend at the start of a month-long tour to the midwest to play music. We enjoyed spending a bit of time together the next morning. The farm dog is very friendly.
F & S welcomed us with open arms. We stayed 2 nights and had a lovely time exchanging stories in their gazebo over a couple of beers watching the swallows & redeing blackbirds coming in to roost in the bull rushes. F was our tour guide during a day out visiting Hemlock and Canadice lakes, which are truly beautiful, unspoiled wilderness areas. In Livonia Center there was a vintage car show & wandered round the cars some dating back to the 1930, an unexpected delight. Interesting to see and hear all about the garlic harvest and their animals, Angus cattle, horses, chickens & of course the dog. Definitely recommend visiting this Boondockers location.
Wow! We could not have asked for a better boondocking experience. Fred and Sue are very generous and have a beautiful farm. We really enjoyed sharing adventures and learning all about organic farming.
These people are really wonderful. The place they live at is one amazing spot. My two teenagers had the chance to go out in the field with the horses and the cows and our host took the time to explain all about these animals. The kids had such a good time. We will be back in three weeks when our USA road trip comes to an end.
Thanks F and S
David
We stayed one night in our 19' Roadtrek along with 2 other couples in their Roadtreks. Plenty of room to park on level grass. Fred and Sue were very hospitable and a delightful couple to meet. Very relaxing night in a lovely rural area. Learned a lot about raising grass fed beef and organic garlic. Their 50 acres of pastures, woodland, and gardens were pristine. This is a beautiful area in Western NY. Lots to see and do if in the area.
