Parking available behind our strip mall on dirt service road. Park rig on wooded side of service road, beyond the back of the Liquor Store, and out of the way of delivery trucks. Not the most glamorous location, but it's within steps of Lake Winnipesaukee and the many area attractions.
The easiest access to the rear of the strip mall is around the west side of the parking lot, around the restaurant. However, since Covid, we have been allowed to setup outside tables (when conditions allow) on that strip of parking lot. This access is available generally anytime before 2pm on weekdays and 10:30am on weekends.
The next best access is to come in the main entrance and bear right at NH Liquor store and work your way thru to the rear service road.
As of July 27, we still have not had our service road entrance repaired, so I recommend avoiding that for egress.
Because it is on the site of a commercial strip mall, we are unable to allow cookouts or other socializing outside of your trailer. This is a good spot for a place to leave your vehicle, but that's about it.
Off Rt 11B. Use main entrance for the plaza at 18 Weirs Road. Pull around and behind the building.
Generally the TV can remain next to the rig.
We would generally be available
Belknap Range for hiking; Ellacoya State Beach for swimming, lounging. M/S Mount Washington at Weirs Beach for a great big boat ride on the big lake. WOW Trail & Northern Rail Trail for easy biking; Ahern State Park or Ramblin' View Farm for singletrack. Patrick's Pub for eating! :)
I really enjoyed my stay at Patrick's. The outdoor mall has a bagel shop, and together with Patricks, there was plenty to eat and drink. The parking was nice, spacious, and had plenty of space to walk my dog. I definitely encourage a stay here. Thanks, M
We stayed at Patrick's Pub on our way from one NH State Park to the next. Convenient location, excellent food and plenty of places to go for a nice walk. Our host took the time to come out and meet us. Thank you!!
Very cool place to Boondock. We ate at Patrick’s Pub and got bagels in the morning. Plenty of flat ground and a short walk to the concert site. We did not get to meet the host but the staff at the restaurant were super friendly. PS you have to try the stuffed mushrooms. Thank You!
Although we never met the host; the pub was closed the night we actually stayed overnight. The spot is essentially a quiet parking spot behind the plaza the pub is located in. It was perfect for a night.
Easy site for large rig, feels secure, and also there is restaurant and other services in shopping center. Thanks for letting us stay.
Didn't get to meet our host but the staff at Patrick's Pub was very helpful. The space out back was quiet at night but there were several planes flying over during the day. There was a great concert venue within walking distance with big name acts. We saw the Black Crowes. Bagel shop is a must too. Very good!
We had a good night at Patrick’s pub. A couple of planes flew over our camper, but no issues at night. The food was good and the service was very friendly. Tom said the beer was very tasty and he enjoyed the Guinness. We would highly recommend this Boondockers Welcome host. Lots of space for any size RV. Special bonus the bagel shop next door was great for our morning breakfast.
Enjoyed our stay with wonderfully accommodating hosts. Great food and bagels. Convenient to Lake Winnipesaukee and the scenic train ride along the lake.
We had a great stay! Ate at Patrick's, and then walked to the Pavilion to watch a show. There was a little noise from the road and airport in the morning and evening, but it was a quiet night overall. The beach, market, laundromat are all with in walking distance. Highly recommended!
If you are looking for a camping experience this isn't it....BUT if you are looking for a great place to boondock I'd say it is pretty ideal. You get a little road noise and the small planes fly over pretty frequently but all of that seems to stop at night and everything slows down. Perfect stop as far as far location goes, close to ideal spots in the area. Having a pub, laundromat, coffee and bagel shop, liquor store, a spa, and even a butcher in the plaza doesn't hurt either lol. This was our first Boondockers welcome stay and we feel like we found a gem since we love the area and frequent it. The food in the pub is fantastic as well. Ordered online, grabbed it, and ate some pub fare in our home on wheels. 👍
Enjoyed dinner and a Guinness at the pub and a quiet and restful nights sleep out back. Super convenient location to the NH lakes region.
We stayed for a quick night - parking is fairly secluded and the pub is good for dinner with a bagel shop in the same shopping center for breakfast.
Perfect spot to set up for a night or two and plenty of fun things to do in the area!
Thankyou for allowing me to stay near your place. The food near by was great. Being an aviation buff, it was fun to watch the airplane come in for a landing. Leaving in the morning, It was easy to get back on the road..
We did not meet the host but the location is great and easy parking behind strip mall. Very easy to park and pretty level.
We enjoyed 2 nights at this host. The spot is behind a shopping center but it is very quiet. The spot is fairly level. We would stay here again.
Perfect boondock - walk to Patrick's Pub for good food, and drink, and live entertainment (open mike night) !
