You should have a quiet night's stay here.
SOME Drinking water for your tank is available (within reason as we are on a well)...just ask.
No generators after 10pm unless we are able to park you behind garage (which means you must be lighter and it must not have rained a lot/mud issues).
More than one night might be an option...we can play it by ear.
If you smoke, please be kind and do not flick buts in our yard.
We are located on a county road so access is good. Our driveway has some norway spruce branches that may brush a taller unit but that may be remedied with some clippers (please check with us first).
We are about 20 minutes from the Kingston exit of the NYS thruway (south)....all on kind of major roadways...down route 209. Our driveway has
a turnaround spot that aids in entrance and exit. We are about 20 minutes from the New Paltz exit of NYS thruway (go north up route 32 if you take this route and avoid town of New Paltz...there are back ways that would be okay just... We are about 15 minutes from the Kingston Exit of the NYS Thruway.
DO NOT let your GPS guide you via New Paltz's Mountain Rest Road or Mohonk Road in High Falls as there is a LOW bridge up by Mohonk Mountain House's golf course that no RV will fit under.
We have 3.5 acres so you can park tow vehicle anywhere but it might not be on pavement (it is not field...just mowed grass).
We travel periodically but just ask to make sure we are here.
Mohonk Mountain House...the last of the Catskill Mountain houses...for an expensive meal
or hiking (entry fee) or just to walk around the house....in a tow vehicle only.
Culinary Institute for dinner in Hyde Park (about 40 minutes drive in a toad).
Hiking in the catskill mountains.
Nearby rail trail to bike on (unpaved)
or just relax
What a great spot to spend the night. Beautiful property and plenty of space. Sorry I missed you, maybe another time!
Although Donna and David had to prepare their own trip, deparing tonight, they welcomed us to stay and enjoy their site. We were invited to pick their raspberries(yammie) and had pleasant chats with both. Thank you guys for your hospitality and hope you have a safe and pleasant trip as well. To tecommend seriously.
Donna and David were very welcoming and have a beautiful property. We parked with plenty of privacy and had an enjoyable time with them. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to problems with the RV which David tried to help with. Would have liked to spend more time with them and was sad to leave. I hope to run into them on our future travels.
We only spent one night at this location; we felt very welcome, these are very friendly and warm people! We received a lot of fruit and vegetables from their garden; they boondock a lot themselves and had some good stories and locations to recommend. Even explained a few things about our RV that we first-timers did not know! Thank you for allowing us to stay with you!
donnaanddavid were great hosts! They we the right hosts for our first time as Boondockers. We got a lot of encouragement and great advice too. Beautiful site in a very nice town.
