I live in a quiet neighborhood on the east side of Boca Raton. You would be parking in our driveway. Restaurants and shopping are nearby. Sites to see in the area I highly recommend are Gumbo Limbo, Wakodahatchee Nature area, Deerfield Beach board walk on the beach,
No smoking on property. No children under 3 please. No running generators.
Paved roads about 2 miles from I 95.
It is a pull in driveway.
Gumbo Limbo Park and Museum, Beach- 2 miles, Boca Raton Art Museum, Sugar Sand Park has a museum and great playground, Deerfield Beach-board walk and restaurants on the beach.
Tony et Laurie nous ont très bien reçu et nous avons passé un agréable moment ensemble
Had such a great time there. Unfortunately I had to leave, it's one those places you wish you could just stay and enjoy for multiple days. It's added to my favorite for next time in the area! Would highly recommend this pace especially if you need a day to just relax and feel welcomed. We spent allot time chatting, there backyard is more beautiful than many parks.
The tiki hut provides you with protection while enhancing the view.
What a nice place to slip into at the end of the day. Enjoyed chatting with hosts in their beautiful backyard. I look forward to seeing them again next time I’m in the area, or down the road should our paths cross.
Laurie and Tony were amazing hosts.Tony with his solar panel expertise and Laurie with her warm welcome. We got all the détails on activities to do in Boca Raton.
Laurelle, Roxane et Guy
We can’t thank Laurie and Tony enough for being incredible hosts. Lynne joined Laurie at the community centre one day and on our last night we spent hours talking about travel and playing music (thanks for the kick in the butt we needed to get playing again!!). We’re both working on the road, and this was a peaceful place for us to do so. Lynne enjoyed the beautiful backyard tiki hut while working. They were essentially mentors for us as we start our adventure, and their pointers will be invaluable. Big bonus: their dogs, Luna and Cassie, are the sweetest!
I actually stayed two days. Laurie and Tony are amazing hosts. They sat down and talked about camping and the various places I could visit in the area. They were very cordial and hospitable and I can't thank them enough for the quiet and safe place they provided for me to park.
Hosts were wonderful. Great conversation on camping, travelling and solar. Would definitely stay with them again.
Laurie & Tony provided a warm welcome and some assistance on a minor though vital repair... lots of great conversation, lessons on solar panels and a relaxing pool... a great stay...
Stayed one night and found Laurie and Tony to be excellent hosts. Very welcoming and helpful. This was our first experience using boondockers and we can't imagine it being any better. Thank you Laurie and Tony!
LaurieA will be forever in our hearts, the kindness and and travelling tips they gave us where exactly what we needed after our first weeks of travelling through the us. This is what boondockerswelcome is all about.
5 Star *****
Enjoyed my overnight! Always wonderful to plug in to run fan or make my Keurig Coffee! A welcomed stop on my way in Florida! They market Interesting RV portable Solar kits, which make alot of sense in terms of wanting to park in shade boondocking ...and then run a 16foot extension of panels to a sunny spot...also in terms of not having to climb a roof or for smaller retro...rigs...like mine. Worth inquiring about for every boondocker! Thank you both! Enjoyable! Paula
It was great to have a friendly harbour to park overnight (2 nights) in South Florida. But the best part was chatting with Laurie and Tony. My wife Guylaine and I are on our first long term adventure in the baby RV, Roadtrek 170. And Guylaine was somewhat apprehensive about this boondocking thing. After listening to Laurie's stories, Guylaine said really enjoyed this boondocking visit and she was getting more comfortable with the idea. Sharing stories and knowledge with wonderful like minded people like Laurie and Tony enriches the boondocking experience. This is a very beautiful location with great hosts - highly recommended.
We stayed 2 nights which were very quiet.
They made us available all the facilities.
They make us comfortable and they are very nice.
Thanks a lot and we hope to see you next time.
Laurie and her husband are great. They let us use the back yard to work and even let us take the kayak out. Very close to the city where you can walk downtown to the shops and supermarkets. They invited us in and we spent some time talking about there travels and best places to go. Hope to meet them again on our travels.
Our hosts could not have been more accommodating! Great location not far from beach. Laurie shared info about area and we were able to enjoy their beautiful back yard. They offered to let us stay 2 nights and we did. Hope to meet up with this great couple again in our journeys. They are also Zamp solar distributors if in the market to add solar to your rv.
