Young at heart lovers of the RV life on the road. Details: We have been RVing for 12 years now. In our "previous life" we raised beef cattle for a hobby...until we bought our fifth wheel. We got the fever, and staying home to take care of farm animals just wasn't as satisfying anymore. Along with our English Pointer, we love traveling from one end of the country to the other. We are in our sixties/seventies and love meeting people along the way. We love the idea of boondocking as we travel around the country. Home Town: We live 5 miles south of the little village of Nashville. We live on a hobby farm, except now that we are into traveling with our RV, we no longer have any farm animals. Our property is very quiet except for the owls and frogs. We live on 25 acres and there is plenty of room for an RV up to 30ft. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love to travel everywhere. WE took an extended to trip to Alaska in 2013. WE have done several pacific NW trips and we yearly go to North Carolina to visit our kids, so always try new areas in the beautiful state. We did a little boondocking in Alaska but mostly we do parking lots so would love to be able to actually stay at a home.

Mark and Laurie are terrific hosts with a huge welcoming property. We travel with two cats and two large dogs - the property is a dream for letting the dogs run after a long day of travel. We stay here on our way to Canada from Minneapolis. A definite YES if you are looking for beautiful views and quiet rest hosted by terrific people, Thank you!! We will see you again!!

Mark and Laurie were friendly, welcoming hosts. While on their property, we had a view of their pond, and several sightings of rabbits and deer, all from inside our camper. There were several mowed paths, nice for a walk, which we did a few times. There were two times they went above and beyond. We had a severe thunderstorm warning, and they offered shelter in their house, if we wished. Also, when packing up to leave our one slide wouldn’t close, so we asked if they had a ladder we could use, and not only did Mark bring a ladder, but he stayed and helped us troubleshoot, even laying on his back in the wet grass under our camper while troubleshooting. Lastly, they are just two miles from Moo-ville. If you like ice cream, it is a must go. If you have younger kids, they will enjoy the outdoor activities.

Our hosts were not there when we arrived, had given us great instructions on parking options. We enjoyed fishing on the pond (even caught a few!) and walking around the property. Also enjoyed MOO-ville a couple of miles away and a cute dinner in town. Such a lovely, relaxing place-and people. We’d love to come back.

We pulled in after attending a nearby wedding and reception. Parking area level and as described. Were able to unwind in the quiet, peaceful surroundings. Will stay again if ever in the area!

We very much enjoyed our stay with this host. We enjoyed talking with her and petting her sweet, friendly dog. She was very accommodating about our scardey-cat, keeping her dog inside when my cat wanted to go on a leash walk. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
