Mooville - dairy farm/creamery. 2 miles North of us. Best icecream around. Petting zoo.
Hubby and I stayed for a 1-night getaway. Our hosts were unavailable but gracious enough to let us stay anyhow. We would have loved to chat with them about their adventures--they sound like very interesting people! Directions were great, property is beautiful, parking spot was level, everything we needed for a great stay! Bonus: just down the road from Moo-Ville dairy farm and creamery if you and your kids wish to tour a working dairy farm, visit the petting zoo/playground, and indulge in some delicious ice cream. The mown paths around the property allow for leisurely strolls and beautiful views full of fall color this time of year. Fantastic for bird watching!
We were trying to do our 1st Harvest Host at the Moo-ville Creamery, without water or electricity. It was horribly hot and we weren't managing well. After eating as much ice cream as we could, I decided to look for a boondockers near there and were blessed to find these guys. They answered our request just in time and offered a cool peaceful retreat, on a gorgeous lush property. The hosts helped me hook up an extension and visited with us for a bit before letting us settle in. Would love to visit again, but would love to stay longer than one night. Unfortunately we were just passing through. Blessings to them both.
A beautiful homestead and a fascinating conversation with "Lauriemalone" (and husband) about the AT Trail. Katy and I hiked the vast fields (mowed paths), fished the two ponds, found a fawn, had a campfire, slept peacefully, drank artesian spring water, discovered a honeybee hive, and the next morning upon hitting the road, stopped at Mooville for a hot fudge sundae. (delish!) Thank You M & L.. I sincerely hope we see each other again.
Laurie & Mark were delightful. Even though they just returned from a 5 week trip, they helped us get situated and told us about their place and area attractions. Highly recommend.
Hosts were so sweet to let us come at the last minute! Especially, since they had just returned from a trip and had been on the road a long x.
They left the plug handy for us, so we could hook up quickly. Nice and quiet farm. Got to meet them the next day. Super sweet! Kids and I really enjoyed visiting 😊
We enjoyed meeting you and thank you for for letting us stay at your place. We had a very peaceful sleep, just faint sounds of nature, it was great. You accommodations were nice, if we pass through the area again we would love to stay at your place again. Thanks very much.
Nashville Respite has a great location in the country. The site faces the sunset on a sprawling 25 acre property. A nice chat around the fire was a great way to end the night. Thanks!

Our hosts are so welcoming. And the parking place is our vision of a dream. Peace and quiet. Birds and other critters. A peaceful view and good places to walk.
The Hosts have a very peaceful parking location. Birds chirping and some frogs croaking at a distance. We sat in the shade and just enjoyed life.
Very nice people. We hope to meet them again.
Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. Had a great chat with our hosts before settling in for the evening. Such a peaceful spot - I really dìd not want to leave. Would love to have them visit us in the future, and would definitely stay again!
It was nice talking when we at arrived, and they have a nice quiet spot with a good view. Sorry such a quick stay. Thanks!
