We are generally home through Labor Day for fellow RV'ers to stay in our back yard. There is plenty of room for at least two RV's and possibly more as long as they pickup after themselves and leave a neat spot for our next guests. This is a senior neighborhood so no parties.
Pick up after your pets. Maintain a neat clean campsite and pick up all of your generated trash and deposit in the onsite garbage container. Be a quiet as possible and no loud music or partying. No unattended children playing or swimming. We have grandchildren that do visit on rare occasions and we don't allow them to bother campers so we expect the same from our campers.
All roads are blacktop and wide enough for most all RV's. The yard is all grass and the ground is adequately firm.
Tow vehicles can be parked next to the rig.
We are generally available until Labor Day. After that it is questionable. Please send a message.
We live on the Crow Wing River and Lake Placid. This is a tourist area and there are many attractions in the Brainerd area to visit. We are only 11 miles from Brainerd.
I stayed with Bird Lover and his wife on the second week of my travels across the country and am so appreciative of them. They were truly gracious hosts and had plenty of room for my RV. It was very cold durng my stay so I was not able to get out much but they have a great lake view. When we were able to chat it was a fun discussion and they gave me a lot of advice on what routes to take on my adventure. I am glad I got to meet them when utilizing this site for the first time. I would definitely stay again, if not to just say hello!
A very nice place. It was level, grassey, and a very easy electrical hook up.
Staying with the T-bird Lovers was a great experience! They greeted us when we arrived, and were so gracious. They pointed to the very large grassy area in front of his workshop and said we were welcome to park anywhere we’d like. He had a power pole there and offered us power right away so we could run our AC if it got too hot. The area was very private, with a lovely view of the pines that lined the driveway. She and I walked our dogs together and enjoyed tea and conversation. We spent our final afternoon with them chatting and getting to know each other. They are lovely people, and we would stay with them again any time!
T-Bird Lover was a great host. Great location not far from Brainerd, which has all the stores you would ever need. We had a nice level, grassy spot to park in for our one night stop. T-Bird Lover was very friendly and we swapped some travel resources. He gave us some great travel tips of where to go as we head north. Recommended stop for sure! Thank you!
