We enjoyed talking to the friendly host and nice level spot.
We recommend them.
Easy in and easy out. 3 point turn into the spot was a breeze. They even offer power and water! Such a nice couple on a beautiful piece of props. Would stay again if passing through. Note, the roads flood with heavy rains according to the road signs. We were able to maneuver fine after a downpour.
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Convenient off I-40. Was able to fill holding tank with water, and even had electricity. Pleasure to stay there.
Great location perfect directions very friendly hosts. Chris made sure that we got set up. And. Ask if we needed anything. If you are traveling through Arkansas this is a perfect place to stay.
What a pleasant place to stay. The hosts were very helpful and a wealth of knowledge. They offered 50 amp service, but I didn't need it for the one night. They even have an open-ended shelter big enough for the biggest rigs. The property has many acres to roam included a wooded area. The skies were so dark that the night's stars were in abundance. Thank you for your hospitality.
We had a great stay in a very quiet area.
Nice talkings and tips for the rest of our trip. Chris make a defect electroblock working!
Thanks for having us!
Johan and Loes, The Netherlands
They have a great place, just a few minutes from the interstate. Wish we had more time to talk.
We just needed a safe place to park between Hot Springs Arkasas and Memphis Tennessee. This was perfect and our hosts even let us park underneath a shed due to the rain that was expected. Would HIGHLY recommend this location!
Wish we could have stayed longer! This was a lovely stay and we could have chatted it up with the host for hours.
Easy parking on the grass and we were even able to hook up on 50amp. The hosts brought us produce from the garden as well! We will definitely return and if you’re in the area it’s a must stop.
I greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness shown by my hosts and I hope to see you again sometime!
The setting is quiet, tranquil and put me at ease. My Cellular provider is a little lackluster but I appreciated temporarily breaking my link with the outside world!
Mstrshop1 was a very friendly and welcoming host. We enjoyed chatting with him upon our arrival. He did everything to help us make our set up easy and then gave us our space. They have a beautiful piece of land. Very nice!
Plans changed, requested arrival a day earlier than planned. Mstrshop1 was able to accommodate us. He met us on arrival, escorted use to the camp site and showed us the electrical hookup and water.
Beautiful, quiet farm, easy access.
This is a nice and easy-to-get-to farm house located east of Little Rock, very close to I-40. Chris was a wonderful host and was on hand when we arrived to guide us. A retired machinist at a large cosmetic factory, Chris is a real do-it-yourself kind of guy--he was busy refurbishing their big RV motorhome when we visited... and busy with clearing trees from his driveway... and busy picking up blueberries. He also found time to offer some excellent suggestions on places to go in the area. The 50 amp power connection was very well appreciated too especially when weather turned hot & humid! Thanks!!!!
Our hosts were very welcoming when we arrived and made us feel right at home. Beautiful spot to spend time off the road! Spot was level and we had water and electricity, always a treat when you boondock alot! Highly recommend a stay here.
Chris meet us on the drive in to help us get parked. It was a hot muggy Arkansas day, so Chris insisted we back into his covered parking AND provided 50 amp service so we could run our AC. Much appreciated. I really enjoyed talking to Chris and touring his Foretravel motor coach. He also gave us some great tips on towing that we didn't know. It's nice talking to someone with a lot of RV experience. Highly recommend starting here is you are traveling through Arkansas.
A beautiful garden at this hosts wonderful ranch, full of fruit trees, blueberry bushes and about the largest shade tree I’ve ever seen in their backyard. Helpful when we arrived, and we would return again if in the area. Thanks for a tour of your working shop.
We stayed for one night at this spot just off the interstate. It was very quiet, flat, shady and perfect for a peaceful nights rest. Chris and Elka greeted us on arrival, had a chat about all things travel and RVs and helped get us situated. Thanks again!
Thank you for being flexible and understanding with RV trouble. I look forward to future trips and I hope to stop over in the future.
This is a beautiful, peaceful country location and the hosts are wonderful. The site is set off from the road so it's very quiet with lots of room to walk your dogs (if you have them). We arrived after dark and our host welcomed us, lit up the area and directed us into our site. In the morning, he allowed us to tour his shop and his motorhome...he's almost convinced us to trade our 5th wheel for a motorhome. He is a big fan of Foretravel and should be hired as their ambassador. ;) But the kindness this couple showed us is what truly warmed our hearts. I had a family emergency and needed to return to Canada quickly and they invited us into their home to use their computer to assist us in making travel arrangements. And they continued to stay in touch and offer prayers. These are truly good, kind people and we hope to have the opportunity to visit them again some day.
Lovely one-night stopover in this beautiful countryside location. Great hosts. Helped us back into the site and provided helpful tips on local shopping. Chris is very handy and is doing a great job renovating his RV.
Great hosts on a really nice piece of land. River view. Make sure you have their directions because my GPS could not locate them. Once there, the driveway was a bit of a tight turn for my class A w/toad, but after that, piece of cake. Very quiet and clean location. Very helpful folks. My rear lightbulb had gone out. Clint helped me replace it. He also helped unhook my toad and guided me in to the wide parking spot. Definitely will keep them on my great place to stay list.
Very refreshing location. And quite welcoming couple. Enjoyed visiting with them a bit and seeing all they are doing to outfit their rig. Thanks again... especially for accommodating our delay.
Really great time here. Such nice land !!! Loved your cat!!!! Great job building . Take care ^_^
Helped me charge a dead battery and had a nice quiet farmpalce. Very nice Christian man. Thank you
Chris and his son Jonathon warmly greeted us just before dark and were very helpful getting us situated on our site for the night. The location was perfect... Not far off the highway but very quiet and private a well as scenic. Chris was a great host and we enjoyed chatting. Would highly recommend staying here.
This location is so nicely tucked away from street (no noise) and lights. I slept so well.
Thank you for having a level spot (I don't have levelers) and shore power.
As I pulled into his yard came our and helped me park and hooked up the electric
We toured the workshop. Where he was fitting a new radiator in his rv
Pointed out lots of things I didn't know and when I left leaving my wheel chock behind rushed down the road to catch me
Chris welcomed a smile me when I arrived after a long day on the road. He directed me to where I could park my van and even helped me to get the van level. He showed me his rig that he was working on with a friend and we chatted for a while before I turned in for the night. I decided to leave his property early in the morning because the weather was threatening. He came out of his house to help me unplug and say goodbye. I asked him on leaving to pass on my thanks and regrets at not meeting Elka.
The host was super helpful guiding us in to the driveway, it comes up on you quick. There were some wet areas so the host asked if he could park it for us since he knows all the wet spots to avoid. Very quiet place and host was wonderful.
We had a wonderful time staying with this family. I say family because that is how they treat you, as if you are part of their family. Great quiet site, even provided electric and water. Spent a long time visiting with them and enjoying their stories and hospitality. Great people, it just does not get any better than this!
The perfect respite for this weary traveler. And a big thanks to Chris for giving me directions so I missed the morning rush hour in Little Rock.
Thank you for hosting this weary traveller. Your location is peaceful and beautiful. I arrived just as the sun was setting.
I slept well and am on the road again.
Thank you again!
We had a very peaceful night’s sleep here as we were passing through the area. There was more than enough room to park our 41’ fifth wheel, tow vehicle, and second vehicle. Chris and Elka also provided us with electric and water. They were very friendly and welcoming to our entire family. I would absolutely recommend this location to other travelers!
What an amazing host. I was traveling from Memphis to Texarkana and was late leaving. At the last minute, I wasn't sure I could make it to my destination because there was a storm heading toward me. I took a chance and made a last minute request to stay. I was quickly accepted and when I arrived I was met in the dark, with the host's car and flashlight to guide me in. He had moved another rv out from under his covered port and let me park under it. That night the storm was raging like crazy but I was safe under the rv port. I was able to spend some time visiting with Mstrshop1 the next day before I left. They are wonderful, kind, thoughtful and caring folks. I would definitely stay again if in the area.
Thank you Mstrshop1 for your wonderful hospitality and kindness. I really appreciate all you did for me.
Hosts were very welcoming! Waited at the driveway to make sure we didn’t miss the house, helped place us and offered electric and water. Mosquitos were horrible but with all the rain lately, it was understandable and uncontrollable. The property was huge and even showed us the storm cellar as we were dodging tornado watches our whole trip that day. Only tip we have is to take I-40 to Hwy 31N as it’s the best way to the house. We took something different without knowing and it was stressful to say the least lol
Thank you for everything hosts!!
Easy in and out quite and safe :) lovely people and very helpful. Superb place to harbor for the night. Highly recommend!
My husband and I had a great night near Little Rock! Our host was very kind, gave us a tour of his rig and even let us pick some blueberries from his garden! We appreciated the gift as well! We would definitely recommend staying with these folks.
This was our first experience boondocking and it could not have been better. A great spot with friendly folks greeting us. Look forward to staying again.
Chris and Elke went out of their way to make us feel very welcome and we had some very interesting chats about shared experiences. Whenever we see Blueberries in the future we will think of them..... they let us pick some of theirs that were ripe for the picking :)
Very easy to locate & park on a level pad with 50amp service. My RV has 30amp & I didn't have an adapter. Chris loaned me the proper apparatus & I was in a/c right away. The property is private & quiet.....any time I'm pass through AR, I will request a stay at this property!
Wonderful stay. Chris communicated with me prior to visit and was there to meet me upon arrival. He helped me get backed into the site and helped hook up to the 50-amp service. Had a good, long conversation with Chris. He gave me a short tour of his workshop and directions to places to shop.
We had a great experience and highly recommend Boondockers welcomes. Wonderful hosts. I do not understand why we are asked to reply so many times to the same sites.
Wonderful spot to spend the night with wide open spaces for the dog to run and explore. I couldn't have asked for better hosts and we could have talked for hours but I needed to get back on the road. I love the concept of meeting real people along the way while driving across the country.
Chris & Elka are so kind! Only about 8 miles off I40. Chris guided us into the Perfect spot for our motor home. Got us hooked up to electricity right away. Total privacy!! Love our first boondocking experience!
Chris and Elka were great hosts. We really enjoyed chatting with them and getting tips from their RVing experiences. Their property is beautiful and Chris was nice enough to offer us shelter from a rainstorm by letting us Park in a covered carport. We really enjoyed our visit with them and hope to see him again either their place, our place, or on the road!
Chris was very flexible with us during our correspondence when we ended up arriving later than anticipated. Upon arrival, he generously helped us get hooked up to electric an water. He has a nice large area to park. Then, he gave us a little tour of his RV rigs and home business products he sells. He even gave us a fruit-fly catcher he made! We spent a quiet and peaceful night out in the country on his land, and continued our journeys the next morning. We're grateful for being allowed to stay the night!
We arrived on Monday and were warmly greeted by Chris and Elka. Because of some pretty heavy rain the night before, the grounds were extremely muddy. Chris quickly helped us get settled and got a rug to place at our entrance to prevent mud being tracked into the rig. The view was fantastic, being able to see for miles and we had a great flat spot to park. In no time we got a tour of some of the amazing things that Chris has created. Before we left on Wednesday morning, Chris put in a 50 amp electrical outlet. This is our 2nd experience at Boondockers Welcome and we are thrilled with the wonderful people we have met.
I made a last minute request for me and my traveling buddy with his own RV to stay and were graciously accommodated. Our host was warm and welcoming, everything one could want in a Boondockers Welcome host!
Great location, wonderful host. Helpful getting into the spot and allowed us to plug in. Makes traveling across the country so much easier, many thanks!
We enjoyed our stay with these folks, very friendly, nice level site..would happily return
These lovely folks could not have been more gracious. Everything we needed they provided. Lovely farm setting and lake, plenty of room to turn around.
We ended up getting to mstrshop1's place when it was almost dark. He met us at the end of his drive so we would not pass it. Talk about home for a country boy it is a quiet place and heard a few roosters crowing the next morning. Our middle daughter evacuated from Rock Port, Tx.and oldest daughter, son in law and three grand girls house was flooded in Orange, Tx. so mstrsop1 gave me a surprise to share with my grand girls. We exchanged contact information and will definitely see each other again along the way.
Thanks, and God Bless

Spent 1 nite in May. Wonderful location on large farm. Chris is a man of many talents. Awesome shop. They have a thriving Internet business and craft many interesting items. Thanks from J & K
They live in a nice quiet spot not far from the small town of Lonoke. We parked our RV in the covered area where their RV usually sits and as it rained the night we were there it most welcome. They were friendly and welcoming and gave us some good travel tips for our onward journey. This was a very pleasant stop and we thank them for their hospitality.
They were a delighted couple to be around. Very friendly and shared information about the area. We were treated very well. We even got some fresh eggs from them.
I have to share a story with fellow boondock friends that has moved me in a dramatic manner. Yesterday as we were stopping at a rest area I suddenly lost the brakes on the coach. Thank goodness for being equipped with an exhaust brake! After coming to a stop, I sent a text to one of the many angels that surround Bob and me. My trusty mechanic Todd soothed my feathers and gave me sound advice so that I could limp on down the road to our planned overnight spot. This is where we met, yet, more angels in our life. Mstrshop1, our Boondockers Welcome hosts. They guided me into their property and immediately backed the coach into his master shop. Within 30 minutes he found that my brake line had broken and proceeded to run into town, buy the parts and fix it for us. I cannot express the feelings of gratitude that we feel today. If there was ever a doubt in anyone's mind that God does not exist, I am here to say "you are sadly mistaken". This journey we are on, called LIFE, has moved me emotionally on so many levels. We are blessed.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Chris and Elka
Susan and Bob
I had a good and quiet day with this great couple. Mr C. helped me to set up the RV under a covered place where he usually leaves his own RV and even looked into my generator issues. Polite and pleasant people.
Thank you so much!
I was hoping to stay here, but mechanical problems prevented this. However, Chris went out of his way to help me find good service for my issue. He truly helped me a great deal. He certainly has a boondocking place in florida anytime he wants.
We were so pleased that mstrshop1 had a last minute spot for us to stay. We were just passing through for a minute, but they were so welcoming and kind. We appreciate their accommodations so much. Thank you.
They were so helpful and just a joy to visit with. We spent hours talking after we set up for the night. We hope to see them again on the road
