I have a 40 foot gravel drive next to my driveway at my house.
Easy access. School driveway directly across the street from my driveway makes backing in and turning around easy.
As I am retired, I come and go fairly frequently. Send me a message to check availability.
Woodinville is known for its wine tasting at the many local wineries such as the historical Chateau St. Michelle. There are bicycle trails, beautiful scenery everywhere, and of course there is Seattle!
Very inviting. She had her camper pulled out so we could hook up to her power for electricity. She was very welcoming to our pets also. We would stay with her agin if we were in the area.
We needed a place near Seattle to accommodate our 24' RV for several nights. Aleatha's gravel parking spot next to the driveway suited our needs perfectly. Aleatha helped us level the RV and loaned us a few of her leveling blocks. She let us hook up to both her electric and water, and as an experienced RVer she had cords and hoses at the ready. She was kind enough to drop us off at our Seattle destination one morning, and let us do laundry in her home over the weekend. We were invited to join her on a trip to Costco but weren't available at the time. Aleatha is a delightful, knowledgeable host and we would definitely stay with her again!
Aleatha was very friendly and incredibly welcoming, and not only allowed us to park in her driveway, but also very generously allowed us use of her power, water and wifi during our stay. As we are travelling with a camper truck we didn't have a car to drive to Seattle. Aleatha gave us a lift to and from the bus stop which made our lives much easier especially for our little one. The spot was just big enough for our 23 feet with slide rig. We were very pleased to be able to stay with Aleatha during our time in the area and would not hesitate to stay there again in the future if the space is available!
This was our very 1st boondocking. Very nice and friendly Host :). Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy to get into space with our RV. Very much appricated her generosity.
Aleatha was very friendly and incredibly welcoming, and not only allowed us to park in her driveway, but also very generously allowed us use of her power, water and wifi during our stay. Her spot was just big enough for our rig (34 feet with no slides), and although tight, we managed to squeeze in nicely with just enough room to get in and out. Access to her drive was quite easy due to the school parking lot directly adjacent, and there was additional ample unused street parking in front of the school for us to park our CR-V in without blocking access to Aleatha's driveway. Woodinville is a great location, convenient to Seattle, with plenty of good shops and restaurants nearby (including an excellent organic drive-thru coffee shop less than a mile away). We were very pleased to be able to stay with Aleatha during our time in the area and would not hesitate to stay there again in the future if the space is available!
This is a fantastic location just outside of Seattle in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. If you want to avoid the bustle of the big city, but you'd like to be able to make trips in to see the sights, Aleatha's place is ideal - especially if you have a toad that you can use to run into town. There is a school across the street, so getting your rig in and out of the driveway is easy because you can pull through the school's U-shaped drive and have a perfectly lined up shot at your boondocking site. If you tow and need to load up or offload, you can just park across the street - there's a wide row of parking that seems to be little used by the school. The neighborhood provides good walking opportunities and if you are there around mid-August, you can pick wild blackberries near the school. Aleatha made me feel very welcome and I could say honestly that I wanted for nothing while I was there. She is a very open person who will make sure what we you need is available to you. She is super friendly and has lots of great stories to tell about her travels.
