5 acres between Placerville and Sacramento, CA.
Same as an RV park. Just don't do anything your mother wouldn't approve of.
paved -two lane on the way to the property. You must be careful of the "doorbell" on a post next to the gate getting in. There are also ditches you should be aware of.
It can be parked in front or in back of you rig.
I can't tell you my availability because I don't know it myself. I just may decide to take off spontaneously.
So. Lake Tahoe, Gold Discovery Park, casinoes, State Capital, wine tasting, Sly Park, Folsom Lake, white water rafting
Bit of a mix up, but all’s well that ends well... We got held up in the day so didn’t arrive till after dark so finding it was a bit difficult... wouldn’t have been such a problem in daylight so I’d say it’s a good idea to roll in before sunset.
And because we had to leave quite early, didn’t get chance to meet, which was such a shame because we’d had really good correspondences - Roadtrekgramma was really helpful with ideas for things to do in the area and a wealth of local information.
Thank you again for allowing us to stay over
CAM Acres is a little slice of heaven and Roadtrekgramma is a delightful host. The location was shady and very quiet. I could only stay overnight but hope to stay a couple days the next time I am in the area.
We had a wonderful couple of days here in the most beautiful country. Hard to believe it was so close to Folsom. Connie was the perfect host.
Nice lady brought me a warm bowl of beans & rice. Like being at home.
Hope to stay again when it's not so wet.
My family and I had a lovely stay here. Connie and her son had some long chats and ended up sharing a pizza for dinner one night.
If you stay here or in the area we highly recommend eating at Heyday in Placerville! They have the best gourmet pizza ever!
Roadtrekgrandma was SO accommodating!
We had a great time visiting over wine and popcorn!
The property is beautiful, and the parking spot is great for a van like mine! (my vas is 24 feet)
I look forward to visiting here again!
RoadtrekGramma is a great host, and we had a nice time visiting with her and her daughter. We loved her large and well mannered dog being on patrol too. It is a very quiet and safe spot. The area roads are great for walking or biking and exploring. Very picturesque!
