Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe have a long, fairly wide concrete parking pad/driveway that could accommodate up to a 28' rig. Getting in and out of the driveway is the trick since we live near the end of the street (not a cul d'sac), with some jockeying required to either back in (easy getting out), or back out (possibly a little more challenging). Once you're parked though, you're in a very quiet neighborhood in the beautiful town of Edmonds, Washington. It's on Puget Sound, between Seattle and Everett, Washington. Walking to town or to the waterfront is a pleasant, easy 1+ mile walk, or public transportation is available 2 blocks away if you don't tow a car.
We prefer no smoking, but have no specific house rules. We haven't had any occasion to establish any because everyone so far has demonstrated basic courtesy and consideration of our home and neighborhood.
The main issue in accessing our location is the last 2 blocks. We live almost at the end of a narrow city street. Big delivery/cement/dump/garbage trucks manage to maneuver around this area, but it's sometimes a challenge. If you're concerned or have questions, please contact us and we can give you more specific information.

The hosts are lovely people with a great parking spot. The surrounding area is beautiful and access into Seattle is easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
My hosts have a lovely home on a quiet street. The concrete driveway is level and cones directed me where to park. My hosts were hospitable and gave me walking instructions to the area. I had a lovely overnight stay.
Jeanandaniel are exceptionnel host, welcoming and generous people. Perfect place. We had a wonderful time with them. We highly recommend. Thanks again.
The hosts were very special people and I enjoyed my stay. It was relaxing and enjoyed their beautiful yard and their lovely town, they were very kind and helpfull.
We really enjoyed our stay here a lot! The hosts were extremely welcoming, he showed us the route to the ferry and we had a nice chat in the evening. They were very flexible with regards to our schedules and had good tips for visiting Seattle.
What a wonderful visit! We were able to get out 26' trailer in the spot just fine and were welcomed by Dan on arrival. We were able to share a meal with Jean and Dan and friends of theirs that also enjoy boondocking. The location of this home could not be better and the neighborhood is beautiful and safe. We hope to stay in contact with them and connect somewhere down the road.
What a fabulous Boondocking experience. Such great hosts, we felt like we were visiting old friends.
i've been thinking - almost all night long - about how i can overtop all the good reports about this hosts.
i only came to this solution:
I HAVE TO COME BACK to this unique place !
because i want to enjoy again this generous hospitality, this beautiful place, this peace, the fresh air and the lovely cat.
i thank for the wonderful stay with you next to your house in the unique garden.
thank you for your hospitality,
for the support,
for the stories and conversations,
for the time you took for me,
for the invitation to a fine dinner in the top-of-the-world-spot
and for the interesting city tour with the great sunset down at the beach.
this is a great and unique place to spend the night.
level pitch in a very quiet neighbourhood, in the middle of beautiful gardens, with fresh air and wonderful hosts.
there is nothing better !
An absolute 10/10 boondocking experience that we are so grateful to have had. Jean and Daniel welcomed us with open arms and such warmth. Arriving late at night and staying for an extra night we are blessed to have been hosted by these two. Jean was kind enough to drive us to the bus stop with a full itinerary planned for our stay while Daniel had an incredible amount of patience as he guided us in backing up the RV in the driveway! We shared wonderful chats and will definitely keep in touch with our new friends.
Thanks again for everything.

Our hosts couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Edmonds is a nice town in its own right and it’s very convenient in its access to the Seattle area. We would definitely stay here again.
Are we jeananddaniel's family? Because they sure treated us like family! Amazing hosts who accommodated our requests and went above and beyond what one would consider a normal boondocking experience. Would love to visit them again!
They went the extra mile to help us make a connection with them, adjusting their schedule to accommodate us. We had a very pleasant evening visiting with Jean and Daniel, and got to meat another Boondockers host who came to visit them. Access was not difficult, site was flat and roomy, and if we'd had more time in either schedule the sights to see nearby would have made for a fun day. Thank you Jean and Daniel!
Thank you for a perfectly wonderful experience. Happy travels and many blessings!
Jean & Daniel were very helpful to get me all set up to stay. Quiet nice location love Edmonds very special town.
Jean and Daniel are very kind and welcoming. It was very pleasant to talk with them and pleasant to sleep next to their house, a very quiet place. Thank you for everything and we look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Europe!
Jean and Dan were very kind and helpful when staying close to Seattle! A great private lot, very friendly, and offered us advice and help getting around the city! We will be visiting again!
Dan and Jean provided my first stop over in the U.S. Interesting and gracious hosts. Dan makes a great latte.
I would def recommend jeananddaniel to others to boondock with. Very welcoming and just some really cool folks. I really enjoyed talking to them and also enjoyed a nice dinner with them that they prepared. Thanks again and great meeting y'all
We didn't get to spend that much time with Jean and Dan since I was visiting a friend but my parents did and very much enjoyed them. Our stay was comfortable and they were warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend their place to anyone exploring Edmonds.
Great location and excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay. We hope to be back this way.
We stayed with Dan for 2 nights in early March 2017 while we visited family in Seattle.
Although all communication prior to our arrival was done with Jean on the computer, she was away visiting family when we stayed there. She was very quick in her responses and and very friendly and informative, we were disappointed to not have met.
Dan however was a most WONDERFUL host. A very interesting man and we had some great conversations!!! We felt VERY welcome and he was very kind to us. Thanks Dan and Jean!!!
We had the pleasure of staying with jeanandaniel.
They were absolutely lovely, accomodating and flexible.
A little bit of a wiggle with the trailer getting into place, but we all fit in the driveway fine.
What a great little spot you have in the world!
It was great to meet you both

We stayed here and had a very warm welcome. Nice quiet comfortable neighborhood with easy in and out access for our RV. Close to a beautiful town which we walked to (about 2 miles?) close to a beautiful short 30 min ferry ride from the town.
