Offering sites on a farm with lots of room for any size RV, trailer, etc. Area is very easy access on any type of site - grass, gravel, cement (your choice), level, very private, electricity available but no water hookup. Water is available nearby. Also, there is a primitive creek side site on a grass cut area available for tenting or a smaller type trailer/van.
Farm is located on a gravel road, a very short distance from a paved road.
We will probably be home all summer and fall.
Airstrip on farm. Lots of room to hike and bike. Golf and shopping within a 15 minute drive.
Museums in Norwich and Woodstock.
Great Couple, enjoyed visiting with them. Excellent level grass site, easy in and out.
We really enjoyed the gift of a site for my wife and I. Especially as they were having their son's wedding, the day we left. They provided practical help in boosting our Toad & our hosts were terrific as they prepared for the wedding on the farm. Trust all went well and we appreciate your generous kindnesses.
Another successful boondocker spot. 400 acres of quiet and relaxation. We have never seen a farm so neat and tidy and comes with an airstrip. Very friendly hosts who gave us a tour of their beautiful property and some great conversations. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven. Hopefully our paths will cross again. Virginia and Bob
I am relectuant to share..Erlhaven Farm and it’s hosts is very hospitable and genuine. We had a tour of their 400 acre farm. The hosts made us feel so welcome and the beauty around us made for the most impressive 1st time experience. Now that I am sharing I will have to share with others this gem. 😄But I suppose if the hosts are open and willing to share their haven then I can too! 🌸Hope to see them again very soon.
This is a gear spot to stay with generous, accommodating hosts. We learned lots about modern farming, much of it quite surprising, especially in relation to soil preparation. We enjoyed our stay.
Keith and I had the pleasure of visiting Erlhaven for the second time...and it was even better than the first...why?...because this time we got to meet our host, and he is just as much fun as the hostess!!
We chose the same spot to camp as last time...down near the massive corn jungle. It's peaceful, with interesting night noises. As always, hydro was available near the house and barn area.
Our hosts had a dinner engagement but dropped in for a visit after. We all squeezed into our little class C and had good conversation and a lot of laughs.
Highly recommended for a quiet and safe place to camp!!

After hosting a few rigs at our place this was our first official boondocking. What a wonderful couple. They took us around the farm with their "mule" and then visited with us in our fiver. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend that you stay at this location if you're in the area. Beautiful farming country, and later on in our travels visited the cheese factory they recommended.
Enjoyed a day & a night at spacious Earlhaven Farms. Plenty of room and easy access. Neat airplanes at the hangers & beautiful walking path. Leslie & Evan are gracious hosts who made us feel very welcome and right at home. Loved meeting the cats & kittens. Hope to
visit again in the future.

Enjoyed our stay, lots of room to park. It is a quiet, rural setting. The hosts were very friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here! Felt like family by the time we left - one night!! <emoji> Quiet farm setting with wonderful kitties that helped welcome us! Thank you for your generous hospitality - we look forward to hosting you when you come through Michigan!!
Despite our arrival at a less-than-opportune time for our Erlhaven hosts, we were welcomed warmly. The farm (one of those properties you pull into and say "Wow!") is beautiful and expansive, with plenty of friendly barn cats to keep our kids entertained. (If the cats didn't all have names when we first got there, they certainly did by the time we departed in the morning!)
Boy, if you want a peaceful, private spot to boondock on, Erlhaven Farms is it!! It is a quiet, lush, far-as-you-can-see expanse of corn, beans, wheat, and forest.
Running through this paradise are two private runways for small planes. I had the pleasure of meeting two pilots who taxied past my rig, waved a hello, and took off into the evening sky...quite exciting. After they landed and the sun set, our hostess drove out [we parked far from the house and barn in a very shady spot] and we had a fun visit. In spite of her having an unexpected issue to deal with, she was more than generous with her time.
It was a relaxing evening with all sorts of night sounds...very comfortable and safe and I would highly recommend this BW member...and in fact, look forward to another visit.
We where the first boondockers here and we were more than welcomed.
We feld Very comfortable with this Nice and kind people.
We had the chance to visit the farm and wow, it's huge, Well maintened and beautiful.
Our only regret, we couldn't stay more than one night.
Next Time we will arrive earlier and stay few days.
Thank you so much guys!!!
