"Lonely Pines" is the kind of people who gladly helps others along the way. As a single woman traveling alone I can attest that I was comfortable and safe there. Lonely Pines is a peaceful homestead. Lots of lakes around! Lonely Pines is near a historical village; very pleasant to stroll through. I'm very glad I was able to stay there and very grateful for being allowed to stay there. Thank You Lonely Pines!
Again I really enjoyed my stay with Dale and Lola. They could not be more friendly or helpful, fun to talk to. Thanks!!! Absolute quiet and peace here with privacy, near state parks with trails, one with dump station year round.
We ejoyed our stay. We were greated by Dale who is a sweet sweet man. Great location to trails. Quiet. Beautiful stars. Just 5 stars all the way around. Thank you Dale!
Our host were a very nice couple. We were greeted by the driveway & escorted to our site. Very quiet so we slept great. Thank you.
The host was welcoming and made us feel a home. Enjoyed our conversations. Very peaceful place. Close to the quaint city of Chelsea and some awesome bike trails both off road and paved.
This was our first experience with Boondockers and it was fantastic. Our host graciously met us on arrival and showed us where to park and offered the use of his 30amp power. We had a chance to chat a bit and I loved hearing about their journeys to Alaska and Mexico. That evening we got a call advising us to peak outside to see a the deer meandering through the property. In the morning I took a walk around the property which is perfectly manicured and I saw a bunch of beautiful birds (humming bird included). Thanks again and I hope we have a chance to meet again!
Our host was helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your kindness
We had a very nice stay. The property is well cared for. The host was there to greet us and show us the way to our site. Very welcoming. We loved being able to stay so close to family. We even saw some fawns each evening while we sat outside.
Such a nice quiet place here and our dogs love it too.
Haha, see below: not near “bear” trails! Nearby trails! Lovely area. Thanks again!!
Had a lovely time in this nice lakes area bear trails. Welcoming and helpful hosts, rolling hills with lawn and some beautiful trees. Thanks so much for the TLC!
We had a lovely peaceful stay while we enjoyed a trip to Ann Arbor. The host is so kind and met us at the street to guide us in and make sure we got all set up. The location is great in a very pretty peaceful area a quick drive to Ann Arbor. They have a beautiful yard where our kids and pups enjoyed running around and playing. We are so thankful to the generous hosts and would absolutely stay again.
Great spot away from the road and houses with shade available. Quiet location and the host was friendly and very accommodating.
We highly recommend this one.
It was like staying in a small cabin in a small meadow in the woods only with 30 amp power and a sewer hook up. Water was available across the field. Lovely, quiet spot. Close proximity to Detroit and Dearborn. Beautiful neighborhood. Friendly hosts.
They are our place of choice for my UofM follow up visits. Pretty, quiet, full hookup. What more could you want?
We have stayed at this location on several occasions. The host are wonderful folks. Very quiet and peaceful location on the back of their property with electric and dumping, water is also available
What lovely people. Very welcoming and kind. I stayed for my two days, would love to visit again. Beautiful spot to spend some time and has everything you need. Don't miss stopping at the nearby bakery.
Very out of the way, very nice place. He and his wife are very nice people. He has a very nice setup for a RV.
Host was wonderful and the setting was great! Thank you for an awesome first time!
All the things listed. Very nice people, but we didn’t get a chance to chat much cold, rain, wind, tends to keep people inside. We will be back again, host willing.
Just a lovely private & quiet spot. Dale and his wife were very accommodating. Electricity, water, & a dump station were available. Our dog enjoyed meeting their dogs. Thanks so much for sharing your space!!!
We stayed at Maxwell for 3 days. Dale met us to help navigate his "hidden" drive way to his lush backfield. We had full hook ups (thank you so much!!) and plenty of room to enjoy the trees and birds and let the dogs play. The area around them has lots of lakes and the towns are really quaint. Both Dale and Lola were just the sweetest. Dale showed us his shop (which is amazing) and they gave us a tour of the house that Dale built all on his own. Really the kindest couple. Wish we had more time to get to know them. (Maybe we will have to return for that dinner we didn't get a chance to have.) If you are in the area and need a peaceful and relaxing place to stay this is it. You won't be disappointed!
Dale is AMAZING! He was such a courteous host. He responded quickly and met us out by the road to show us to the campsite. He was so hospitable - offering 30 Amp and water hookups. He even welcomed us to stay long...and we are! The backyard is very private and our dog, Chocolate Chip, loves the freedom to be off leash. Truly generous hosts!
Dale and Lola were phenomenal hosts! Dale met us at the end of the driveway, guided us back the path to the site and helped us connect to the hookups. The site was easy to get to (via a grassy path), private, level, and had full hook ups. They were very friendly and helped with recommending some services we needed. We highly recommend this host!!!
The Maxwell's were wonderful hosts. They were unable to be there when we first arrived, but provided excellent directions (and put up flags to mark the entry) into their meadow like RV parking area. We took advantage of the 30 amp electric hookup they offered us. They also had water and a dump station available, which we did not use. We had an enjoyable chat on their patio and were treated to a view of the beautiful birds at their feeders. We highly recommend a stay at their place. They are good people!
Excellent host. Nice quiet area with hydro that was so nice.
We stayed with Maxwell for two nights in our 35' motorhome. The site was located behind their home. Our host met us at the street to guide us in. Nice open site lined with trees. Everything you could hope for, electricity & water. The location is very close to Chelsea and also great trails and lakes in the area. The hosts are a lovely couple and very generous and gracious.
