We stayed two nights at Aracnidia Acres. The location served us well and the country setting was quiet and dark. We spent time with the host chatting about an assortment of topics. There was plenty of grass parking that was reasonably level and shady, not too far from town.

First let me say that Dan was a totally gracious host. He went out of his way to make sure that we had what we needed. That being said, there were some issues. The road out front is under construction and the road crew has made the access very difficult by removing the drive culvert creating a dip upon entry. If you have any overhang on your motorhome you will bottom out. Secondly, locating the entrance can be difficult. All you need to know is that it is one drive before the cemetery if coming from the south, or one drive after the cemetery if coming from the north. Upon arrival, I suggest Once you pull back get out of the motorhome and walk around to find where the electric access is before you drive the rest of the way, unless Dan is there to assist you. He was out when we arrived. The area where we parked was not level but it was not a problem as we carry leveling boards with us. The going rate for 15 amp electric is $5 per night. More than reasonable. Dan came by the night before we left dropped an overhead wire that would have caused us to backup, in order to make our exit easier. Much appreciated. If you are going to take advantage of his offer 2 shoot while there, be sure to let him know in advance so that his dog is not roaming. Be sure you have a good backstop to your target.

This host was so wonderful! He made sure the grass was cut so it would be easy to drive through to the parking spot, and even spent time fixing the electrical box so that the electricity would be working for me! Thank you so much! Hope to see you again someday!

Worth the adventure. Dan was a helpful, accommodating host. The property had plenty of space and level area away from the road.
