Farm field, or farmstead depending on weather.
We are on a County road and it has good clearance as far as trees or overhead obsticles.
We like to travel also, just would need a little planning.
This is a lovely spot in a farmer's field. Clear skies gave a great opportunity to star watch and the chance to go into town without the trailer was great. Thank you Laurie.
CNYfarmer was not able to be present for our arrival, but had set out a sign that made it obvious where to park. Because of wet ground we disconnected the car on the street, minimal traffic, and backed in through the gate. We had no trouble getting a level spot. Laurie (?) came by and greeted us a bit after we set up. Enjoyed meeting her. We would be glad to stay again if we are in the area.
We were welcome by our hosts upon our arrival. They gave us a warm welcome and showed us the huge parking place. What a quiet place and nice area they live. The drive there from the highway is really nice. I just wish I had more time to visit the farm.
These folks welcomed us enthusiastically - Laurie was waiting by her gate and ran (yes ran) down the road to show us where to park, in a field beside their farm house. We invited them for a glass of wine later that evening and shared stories. Lovely people, getting ready to explore in their own RV. Highly recommended. Don-Gillian
Laurie and Bud were great hosts with both coming over to our RV to introduce themselves and to ask if we needed anything. Laurie actually came over 3 separate times to chat with us. We also got to meet their son Buckee (?) not sure of the spelling. They have a huge field to setup in. This was our first boondocking experience and what an outstanding experience it was. This was the reason we joined boondockers. Thank you again Laurie and Bud.
Bud and Laurie were great hosts and live in a beautiful country setting. You really couldn't find nicer people. They were very helpful with local attractions and events. I hope that someday they can make it to Florida and stay with me.
