Are we late with this one! A lot of catch up these days must include one of our most memorable Boondockers Welcome experiences. We always hesitate to include the specific kindnesses of our hosts, aware that on any given day any one of us may be more or less able or inclined to offer extra niceties. That said, Alex and Susan went over the top, WAY over the top, in making us feel at home. On top of their welcome and generosity, Alex's patience and assistance (Susan wasn't there to witness) with an extremely unfortunate incident concerning our motorhome, was beyond all that could have been anticipated. Let's just say that it was one of those incidences that all of us dread might happen some day. It did. Alex took it in stride, took me to get parts and reassembled the connection. And then there was the cleanup. Now that's a host for you. That's truly "above and beyond . . ." We would return any time (if they would have us) and Alex and Susan are certainly welcome here in Sun City.
This is a wonderful place to stop over. ACC was very helpful in guiding me from 40 miles out right to the concrete pad. Thanks very much. Windmill camp.
We stayed at this Boondocking site while visiting OshKosh recently. Alex & Sue were wonderful hosts and the area is beautiful and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and meeting our hosts.
