but many many trailers and campers use it. Curves and sharp bends requires attentive driving at all times. We are usually available in the summer until the fourth of July..
Separate area for tow vehicles and boats.
Mostly in the spring and summer sometimes in the early fall. You need to contact us to ensure we or someone else is available to assist you. When we are at the Lake the number to call us on is a land line 541-893-3919. It is difficult to obtain cell service in this area at times.
In Baker City Oregon there is a great interpretive center that covers the history of the Oregon trail. Also
Richland, Oregon and Halfway Oregon are great small towns with a very unique character.
We contacted JohnRuth through the website first, and then had a delightful phone conversation! They would not be in Huntington on our desired date but offered to let us boondock at their property in Ontario, OR! This was the parking lot of a commercial site, flat and level. We would stay there again should we be passing that way, and you should consider it as well! First class Boondockers Welcome hosts!
