I had a great stay! They provided me with a paved level space with electric. Their yard is spacious and pleasant sitting outside in the evening. They gave me good information about the area and sightseeing. I would be more than happy to stay here again.
We enjoyed our time in Vermont. Marjle1 has pretty much full hookups in the middle of the woods. We weren't far from site seeing locations that we wanted to see, and the public library and cell service was 5 minutes down the road so we could use WiFi, and get some work done. Our hosts were very kind to let us stay, and they were even looking out for our cats, while we were gone to the library getting things done. Thanks for letting us stay.
What a wonderful stay. It started with meeting our hosts who presented us with numerous maps of the area as well as flyers outlining a variety of activities available to us. It was like stopping at the visitor center. Great open spot that normally didn’t come with an electric hookup but Lee, our host, offered us a 20 amp service. So convenient. Three beautiful days that ended up with a wonderful breakfast provided by our hosts on departure day. And they were hosting two rigs! So happy we were able to help on a couple small projects around the property. Thank you both!
Marge and Lee are very accommodating and love meeting new people. They are very generous by opening their amazing home and property to boondockers. Great people! Plus I hear he makes a mean pancake ;)
Very gracious hosts. I just did not have time to interact with them or enjoy their idyllic location. I arrived late and had to depart early to get on the trail to ascend Mt. Mansfield. Hope to go back some other time to enjoy their company and share stories. The electric hookup and sewage disposal was very helpful.
Could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay at Home Again. Our host were friendly yet gave us space when we needed quite time. We arrived and had the pleasure of adopting a 10 wk old pup. We had a wonderful spot they shared with us to allow our puppy a safe space to run off leash. We would recommend home again to anyone who would enjoy kind, caring, and helpful hosts. All the comforts to allow for a relaxing stay and the wonderful gift of popcorn sending us down the road with a wonderful treat. Thank You for sharing your home again, we will defiantly stop when our travels bring us your way again.
Sincerely,
2-Ole-Buddies

We had a great time visiting with these friendly hosts. They have a tour of the town, information about biking, provided great conversation and even taught us a new card game, skip-bo.
The have awesome trails on their property to enjoy and a quiet setting. Thank you so much for having us.
Lee and Marj were incredible hosts. They were so wonderful, hospitable, generous and fun. Offering full hookups in a beautiful area is enough but they went above and beyond with wonderful ideas for us to do locally, great conversations around the fire, lawn mower rides for our kids, book recommendations and even gifted books and homemade popcorn. Our girls loved running around their lawn and playing on their swing set. We loved the paths through their gorgeous property. Marj and Lee are great people and it was a pleasure meeting them. We hope to keep in touch!
We arrived a bit after dark but found our hosts almost waiting for us in the driveway. Marjle1's had maps of the area for us and was better than any tourist office we had been in about what the area had to offer. We stayed with them for 2 nights and had a wonderful breakfast visit our last morning. Definitely would recommend them.
We had the privilege of staying a few nights with Marjle1, and it was fantastic. Close to town, and a lot of wonderful sites to visit. The site was easily accessed, and had level ground with full hookups. The kids played on a playset, rode in a trailer pulled by a lawn tractor, explored the surrounding woods on well manicured trails, and enjoyed awesome homemade caramel popcorn. We cannot say enough about this host, they went above and beyond any other host that we have stayed with using Boondockerswelcome.
My daughter told me, "Momma, we can't stay with those people...they're strangers! We don't know them!" Well, I must say, our hosts were amazing & only strangers for about 5 minutes! We arrived to find a perfectly level parking pad with all the amenities a camper could possibly need! My daughter & my traveling friend went for a walk in the woods while I worked in the camper. When they returned 45 minutes later, they were carrying three gallon bags full of popcorn (1 chocolate, 1 caramel & 1 plain) prepared by our hosts! Yum! Our host soon popped his head in the camper & asked what time we would like to eat breakfast. So the next morning, we were served delicious blueberry pancakes in their kitchen! Strangers? I don't think so!
If you get the chance, stay with "Marjle1" next season. They are simply the best!
Thank you so much Marjle1 for the lovely layover although brief. Wish we had not been on such a time crunch so we could have enjoyed it more. The walk on the paths in the woods was lovely and much needed to stretch our legs after a long day driving. Next time we promise to stay longer.
This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome. Our hosts were friendly and fun to visit with and gave us great ideas for things to see in the area. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting or more gracious hosts!
The site has a resort level view. The hosts are fantastic. And our host's famous Vermont breakfast was fabulous! We were full until supper time. Getting to know our new friends was priceless. Looking fofward to see them down south.
WOW,outstanding, we will return. We couldn't have found a more warm and welcoming couple. They have a beautiful home and property offering a level,30A RV site with sewer! We enjoyed sharing travel stories over home made popcorn and warm fire.
This was our first time using Boondockers Welcome and these host could not have made it a better experience. The location was beautiful and the hosts when out of their way to make us feel welcome. From recommending local places to eat to helping me back out of the space (which was welcome since I am new to backing our 35' trailer.) and getting us on our way. They even sent us off with bags of homemade popcorn. If all of our boondocking experiences are as outstanding at this one then the money we spend on our membership fee was the best money I ever spend.
What warm and wonderful hosts! As veteran RVers, they were a fount of information for us novices. We picked Lee's brain about every aspect of RVing and he generously shared his expertise.
They have a beautiful site in the country, but convenient to town. We could not have asked for more accommodating hosts. When we discovered that we did not have the step-down cable for the electric hookup, Lee lent us his. He also brought us 3 bags of delicious popcorn!
We will definitely plan to go back there the next time we are nearby.
Thank you once again for your generous hospitality and your wonderful homemade caramel and kettle corn popcorn! If ever you happen to be in our neck of the woods, please drop by! Diane, Danny & Charlie
Despite our late arrival, our host was so welcoming! It is a beautiful site in the middle of forests - the colors spectacular this time of year! So sorry we missed them in the morning before having to leave.
I stayed with Marjle1 for one night. A really great spot with lots of trails in the woods. They welcomed my dog who was delighted to explore the woods with me. A nice fire in the evening was great where we had lots of stories to exchange. Thanks for the evening and the morning treat!
Ross
Thank you again to you both!
A great spot with every hookup needed. Beautiful property for walking and close to town.
Incredibly helpful people that love to have a great chat and share ideas and experiences.
We look forward to keeping in touch and meeting up in January!
I stayed four enjoyable days with Lee and Marge, and I recommend them very, very highly.
We had many interesting discussions together, they gave me excellent suggestions on what to visit in their area, and we shared several meals together.
Their beautiful home, their little dogs, the woods surrounding their home, many places to hike and bike--I enjoyed them all!
Lee and Marj are so flexible and accommodating, simply the best! We sent them an email several days in advance and they connected back to us within hours. We were hoping to stay with them the 29th or 30th...we finally made it there on the 31st, after electrical problems, then someone backing into our dolly trailer broadside, it literally rocked our rig! As soon as we got there they helped us get settled and made several suggestions for events and to-dos in the area! Along the way to their lovely home at 1,500' elevation there are exceptional mountain views. We were only going to stay one night but stayed two instead...great people...and Lee's flavored popcorn is over the top!
My husband and I arranged to spend 2 nights at this wonderful location, and ended up staying 5 nights. We loved the location and the wonderful couple. Nights were spent sharing stories and wine around the campfire, complete with S'mores one evening. Other evenings included a video and games. Their two dogs were a delight. We even had a hot breakfast prepared one morning!
This spot was amazing, as were the hosts. The property has walking trails, complete with raspberries and blueberries to nibble along the way. Blackberries will be ripe soon. We will definitely connect with our hosts again, as they have become wonderful friends.
Thank you so much for such a great visit!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We had hookups part of the time because others were there. That was fine as we are self sufficient. They built campfires each night and fixed us a full breakfast with pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage and coffee (wow)! They have a great property to wander around on. There is lots to do within 20-30 miles and we took advantage of that. What an awesome couple. They really like having people stop by and visit. We would recommend this for anyone. Thank you Marjle1 for your hospitality.
Roy and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at their home. They provided full hookups which was a treat. Their property is simply beautiful with walking trails through the woods and beautifully cared for open spaces. Roy and the husband found that they both were remote control airplane flyers quickly and off they went to the flying field!! There is a lot to do within 20 miles of their home and we did it all. Our last night we were treated to a scrumptious home cooked meal which we enjoyed so much. We had a great time of visiting with them and were blessed by this time! They deserve a five star rating for all aspects of our stay! Thanks guys, we appreciate your gracious hospitality!
Roy and Rosalyn
I felt like we were visiting 'ol friends'. They've been in this area for over 45 years and know everything and just about everyone. And that is a good thing for RV'ers who have a few little repairs to do on their rigs. (as we did).
We saw deer and turkey, and had a great stay. 100 % recommendation!!! and 5 *****'s
Thank-you for everything!!
Ty and Margie (Idaho)
When turning in Marjle1's huge paved laneway, we knew we were heading for something nice. Wow! What a beautiful place. We had our very own paved parking spot with electricity, water and dumping facilities. She came out and greeted us. Poor lady, her right arm was in a cast. She told us he would be home later on. He arrived later on and right away came over to our R.V. and invited us for breakfast.
If ever you make your way there with any luck he may invite you to his buckwheat pancakes, scramble eggs and bacon, with plenty of good coffee in his outdoor kitchen.
For us this was our last boondocking experience. We made our way back home and put our motor home for sale. Sadly our R.Ving days are over. Francine and Marcel
My husband and I recently stayed here. We were warmly welcomed to their RV site. We were so impressed! They have an actual full-hook-up dump station with water - just like a campground! What a treat! We enjoyed visiting the local area and relaxing a bit. This generous couple invited us to join them for delicious cookout dinner. We enjoyed talking and sharing the meal together. They certainly went above and beyond for us! It's definitely people like these who make Boondockers Welcome a pleasure for fellow travelers. Thanks a million!!
If you are anywhere near Barre VT. Ask to stay with these people. They are kind generous and loads of fun. They love to have company and play cards in the evening too. We will miss them!
We had a wonderful time staying here. They were so great and accommodating. We hope to cross paths again. The location is close to plenty of great attractions, but most of the fun we had was right on their land! Absolutely great people!
We stayed one night, and it was beautiful! We arrived just as a stunning sunset graced the sky. Despite the chilly weather and late hour, Marje and Lee helped us get hooked up, and we visited awhile before turning in. They invited us to walk the trails on their forested property the next morning, which I did, and enjoyed very much. They were great hosts.
Well I had to call and say I was lost and Lee gave me some of the most detailed, helpful and accurate directions I have ever received.
When we arrived he came out to help me park my rig and we I finally got it squared away he showed me where to hook up to his electric and offered me water and showed me where the sewer hookup was. Full hookups with a magnificent view. We had a memorable time here visiting with Lee and his charming wife Marj.
Lee told us we had free run of his property all 18 and a half acres of it. I didn't get to take in the full 18 and a half acres but I got to see a majority of it.
Lee was very helpful in suggesting sites for us to visit. We asked if we could get together later when we got back around 7 and Lee said sure. Anyways, we didn't get back until 8:30 but there were Lee and Marj patiently waiting for us and they had a nice fire going and we were able to sit with them for 2 hours and chat about this and that.
Time just flew by so fast!
The next day when we left Lee gave us some very good directions for us to get to our next destination.
Lee and Marj were both great hosts and hopefully we will see them again someday down the road.
A lovely clearing in dense woods in Vermont. Full hookups and very accommodating hosts. A very nice stay.
