Currently living in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (Sanders Beach area) within walking distance of the Lake and a city beach! We own a very small home and come and go frequently......snowbirds in the winter in NM.
CdA is a beautiful town, rich in outdoor activities, hiking/biking trails right down the street. We are just blocks from Hwy 90 and Hwy 95.
Parking will be on the street or beside my home (24' max). Use of slide outs and awnings depends......
“These are the soul’s changes. I don’t believe in aging.
I believe in forever altering one’s aspect to the sun.”
– Virginia Woolf
Paved roads all the way!
Yes, a toad can park on the street and/or the rv with toad can park in front of the house. This is a city street so others can park in front of the house......we have to "save" the spot - your arrival time is pertinent!!
We travel frequently.....almost every month we take an rv trip somewhere...sometimes for a couple days....sometimes for the whole week.....sometimes for the whole month.
Will be volunteering at Priest Lake the month of July 2018 so unavailable to host!
Leaving the end of September to volunteer at the balloon fiesta in Albuquerque so unavailable to host in October 2018.
We will be hosting in Deming, NM this coming winter (2018-2019) - look forward to visiting with snowbirds that scoot along Interstate 10 between Los Cruces and Tucson.
Wonderful scenery, fancy resort, walking distance to the library, hiking trail on Tubb's Hill within walking distance of my home, awesome dog park downtown, Sanders Beach is just four blocks from my home.
My dogs & I overnighted here on Sept. 6th. There was another boondocker there, & my hosts moved their car to allow my rig to be parked off the street in their driveway. Joan allowed my dogs to stretch their legs in her backyard while we visited, and was very accommodating to any needs I had. It was a nice stay, & they are only a few blocks from beautiful downtown Coeur d'Alene. I will definitely contact them again next time I am in the area. Thanks Joan!
We spent a night with JamaJoan. Were met at the curb and helped park. We had a great time visiting these folks and they were very helpful in putting out locations in their lovely city.
What a delight this well travelled, informative host is! As a bonus, she is located in a picture perfect postcard setting of C d'A. The Lake Drive is stunning and Roger's Hamburgers / Fries & Ice Cream was a nice treat for us. Thanks JJ, for your hospitality. Looking forward to crossing paths again. Love, peace and Good Winds to both of you. We stayed with JamaJoan on May 21, 2017
I recommend JamaJoan for being so courteous, as we had to delay arrival by a few days as our camper had a broken door and had to be replaced. By the time we knew we were going to arrive, Jam Joan was leaving that day for her own road trip. JamaJoan allowed us to stay on her home site, just with connections thru phone conversations. It was much appreciated. Ruth and Steve
Jamajoan is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! We stayed two days and really loved Coeur d'Alene. It is beautiful and Joan's house is well located to walking downtown and only a few blocks to a public beach. We really enjoyed our visit. Thanks again Joan for your hospitality! Hope to see you again.
Our night at Joan's place was our first Boondockers Welcome (BW) engagement. And what a great introduction to BW. Joan and Robert were so welcoming to us we felt right at home. We had some great conversation with them which is one of the reasons I think we all RV - to meet new and interesting people, and we found that here at Joan's.
Joan made accommodations for us in her yard which made our set up convenient.
What a great first BW experience - Thanks Joan!!
