We live in Transcona, a suburb of Winnipeg, on a typical urban lot, so have limited space. We can accomodate a Class B or some small Class Cs, or a smaller trailer/5th wheel. (Hint: We could not park our former 30 foot travel trailer plus truck in the space but could easily drive there for loading, and our current big Class A diesel pusher we can't get down the lane, too high !) City bylaw prevents rig parking on street (even ourselves except for a few hours) .... sorry.
15A electrical & water fill available. Small slides may fit, please ask in advance. Sorry, no awnings due to small space.
Paved back lane, accessed by all paved city streets. If you fit the spot, you'll be fine to get to it. We could bring our former rig, a 30' travel trailer (that wouldn't fit in the spot) up the lane to load it, with no trouble.
Street parking for car/truck available legally, but RV must be on our property.
One of us, the old bearded one, still working but not too hard, so unless we're away, guests are welcome at our "sticks and bricks" residence. Home to host except when on the road sometimes in summer and in the USA for parts of the winter. Send us a message to see if we have a spot available to fit your timeline! Try & avoid "same day" requests, we often may not get the message in time. Ask for current wifi password when you request the spot, or on arrival.
What are your interests? We have history, scenery, architecture, waterways, beaches, great camping and parks, pageants, museums of all kinds, shows & festivals, great restaurants, and so much more here in Winnipeg and the rest of Manitoba. Glad to make customized suggestions.
We thank you very much for the quiet and nice stay at your place! We enjoyed our conversation and we did a Trail in spruce Woods p.p. you recommended , it was fantastic! Maybe we will see you in Arizona :-)
We stayed 2 nights at Sunramblers place. Our host came to great us the first night and we had a good conversation about his area and the things to see. He is quite knowledgeable about the history of his region. The space provided was just right for our rig. The amenities were as expected. I do not hesitate to recommend this host to other boondockers. Thank you Sunrambler.
We liked this place for visiting Winnipeg. Jack gave us good advices about bus 47 and interesting things in Winnipeg. We are glad that they allowed us to stay a night more. Thanks for the water and a great stay, we enjoyed it.
Although our host, Sunramblers, was not there he left out the electrical cord for us and gave us WiFi information. Very considerate.
We stayed at Sunramblers' home last night. Lovely couple. We enjoyed sharing travel stories with them. Very welcoming, would stay again.
A big thank you to Sunramblers for his great hospitality. He has great knowledge of history and sites in Winnipeg and Manitoba that he shared with us, and even took us on a personal tour of the downtown sites which really made our day.
