Two back-in drive ways on five acres in the country. Usually corn or bean fields all around, during the summer. Accessible during most weather conditions. Call ahead. Used to be used for farm machinery so should be stable ground. Quiet, no fires at this time. Between US 40 (Old National Rd) and I-70 between Indianapolis and Richmond, IN
Paved, two lane county roads. Near 2 major highways.
We are usually home three week-ends a month, March through Oct. Please e-mail ahead for availability on the dates you need.
We stayed here overnight. Easy to find, easy access right off the interstate, but far enough away to be quiet. They had put out reflectors to mark the culvert. We were warmly welcomed. We highly recommend this Boondockers Welcome! host.
Thank you Oldtrojan66 we had a great stay at your place. It was nice and quiet and absolutely beautiful! I know you guys had to be wiped out from just getting home from your own month of RVing, but you were very helpful and friendly and we greatly appreciated your hospitality. Hope to see you on the road.... Maybe in AZ. You have our number :)
I am so happy we contacted this host as the response was quick, they put out reflectors so we would know where to park and their property was lovely. It's a quiet spot on a country road where my husband was able to fit in a brisk evening walk before retiring. Very convenient to two major highways and a gas station/convenience mart. I would definitely recommend these folks as they were very helpful and welcoming.
Host could not be home but allowed us to stay anyway. Their Grandson left a wedding to make sure we got settled in. Wonderful corn country. We were headed to NM from PA. The response time was within minutes. Hope to get back to meet our generous hosts.
We had a tough time saying goodbye to my ailing Brother earilier, then our Garmin got us lost. He still got out there in the dark to show us where their campsight was marked out. They could accommodate a few self contained RVs in their large location. They are only a short mile and 1/4 from the I-70 freeway. It is also a historic area where Wilbur Wright was born nearby. Nice Fellow but we couldn't visit much. He gets up for work at 4 AM. We would visit them again if they will have us!
