Senior, Christian, Veteran and DW about three years from travelling more. Details: We are a Christian couple in east central Indiana on a farm remnant (5 acres) with a couple old driveways now grass, but pretty good for all weather overnight stays by fellow travelers. We winter in Arizona 4 or 5 months of the year. But our property is still available. Our son keeps an eye on the place and we let him know when guests are expected. Eager to meet other folks of the same interests and share stories and tips. Would prefer a quieter bunch (not loud music all hours). Well water is available, but it is very hard (29gr) and some odor (It smells like well water, duh!). We have no dump facilities and don't plan on any, but the price is right! We are in our 70s and have two dogs (not ferocious!). Let us know what the interest is and we'll take it from there. thanks Favorite Boondocking Locations: REALLY love the Southwest in winter n Pacific Northwest in the summer. But usually spend most of the summer "Back Home, Again in Indiana". Skills or Expertise to Share: handyman, DIY, appliance repair, general knowledge of mechanical stuff (not an RV repairman!) (2018) Just started rockhounding n making cabachons from the stones we find. Seem to be mostly into agates of different kinds.

Our host came out to greet us and we chatted for a few minutes. He gave us a few simple instructions (the most important being to stay on the gravel unless we wanted to get stuck) and had us pull forward to the camp site. Nothing fancy here. No hookups or fire ring, but since we were on the last night of our trek, we didn't really need anything but a place to rest. The view at this time of year was quite extensive, with flat fields in all directions. There was a little noise due to the expressway a mile and a half away, but not enough to keep us awake. All in all a simple, pleasant place to stay.

This was a one night stop on my way through to Ohio. I wish I had more time to stay and visit. The wildflower garden was in full bloom and very beautiful. easy to get into and level driveway. I made time to visit in the morning before leaving and had a delightful visit with my hostess.

Very pleasant. A Hoosier by birth, I loved being surrounded by greening fields and the nutty smell of rich Midwest soil. I especially enjoyed the end-of-the-day parade of farmland's modern muscle machines as they left the nearby fields. This stay offered easy access, level ground, choice of spots, and a friendly conversation with the host. I would definitely stay again.
