We have a rather steep cement road that leads to our home, so are limited in the length of vehicle we can host. Probably nothing larger than 22' would be comfortable with the turns and drop offs. We have a view of the Blimp Hangars that were built to house the blimps during World War II and are close to the Tillamook Creamery (Tillamook Cheese Factory) and, of course, the beautiful Oregon Coast!. We are in a rural setting and spend a lot of time outdoors.
We would prefer that there would be no smoking on the property. We have lots of wood outbuildings, so we are very careful about fire. We have animals as well, so your dogs would be best on a leash if they are traveling with you. Children are welcomed.
We have a cement driveway that is quite steep, has some pretty good corners on it and is narrow. That being said we are best suited for the smaller size class Bs. We have a Roadtrek 210 and do fine with it.
Our address does not show properly on a map or GPS because our address is on the main road and our mailbox is not on the roadway. We have had to go looking for folks before who did not have cell service, so when we offer to meet you and bring you up the road that is why!
At this point I do not know of any times that we are not available.
There are many beautiful beaches near and Highway 101 is not very far away. The recently remodeled Tillamook Creamery is a place many people like to stop and enjoy. The Pioneer Museum in town is definitely worth visiting.
Mike & Bev are truly wonderful people and fantastic hosts. Their place has a million dollar view and is peaceful, quiet, safe and secure..
We really enjoyed chatting to them and finding out they love to wild camp like we do. Very talented and helpful folk who are an absolutely pleasure to know.
We hope to see you on the road in the not to distant future!
Yep, the road to the location is steep and narrow. But it is a short distance and we had no trouble in our 21 ft rig. The farmland views from our parking area were wonderful, especially in the late evening sunshine. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Mike and Bev are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for giving us a memorable stay.
Except for the crazy high winds and smoke our stay was beyond perfect. Hosts are the nicest ever. House is secluded and very quiet with electric hookup. I am loving Boondockers. This was only my second stay and can only hope to find stays like this again.
Mike & Bev are great Hosts. The view of the valley heading down their driveway, breath taking, and the small herd of deer I saw crossing in front of me one day is among the surprises I will always remember about my visit.
Mike and Bev are awesome hosts! We had a beautiful view of the green mountains. Enjoyed engaging conversation, shared experiences and tips. Would love to go back and explore more of the area and Tillamook. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Bev was kind to meet me and guide me to her property. After introducing me to her family, she and Mike helped with power and dump locations. After a chat, Mike left me to set up. I had a quiet and peaceful night's rest. I recommend Bev and Mike's place to all.
Wonderful people, we had a great time meeting them and their place is beautiful! Right by the Tillamook Creamery too!
Mike & Bev and their family are the kindest and more welcoming hosts you could ask for! Breathtaking views from their property and plenty to see/do in Tillamook! This was my first stay with Boondockers Welcome and I couldn’t have been more blessed to have Mike & Bev as my first hosts!!
Mike and Bev’s Places was a joy to stay at. It gave us a great location to stay and explore the surrounding area and in addition they are great hosts and we had some wonderful conversations. We’ll stop back for sure if we are in the area again!
My grandson and I were welcomed with open arms at Bev and Mike's. They made us feel as though we were family.
We enjoyed our time at Bev's. She was accommodating and gave us some good suggestions for local tours. She even had a free entry coupon for one location I wanted to go. They welcomed us even though they had a very busy weekend.
We spent 2 nights at Bev and Mikes place and we thought we were in paradise. They are really welcoming us like a family member and there was a lot to see around the house. We were sad that we had to leave and we thank a lot for all the support!
We would like to thank Bev and Mike for your warm hospitality at their place. Very generous people who like to meet boondockers. They give good travel informations and make you feel comfortable at their place.
A good place to staybon a way to Oregon coast!
Wonderful time spent with our hosts. Enjoyed there friendly hospitality and really enjoyed their son’s homemade honey. The hill to their home is as Bev says, verry steep and narrow with lots of curves and low spots. But very worth the trip. Glad the new puppys were not old enough to leave mom or we would have one going home with us.
Bev and her whole family were very friendly and welcoming. She easily adjusted out stay date and went out her way to make us feel welcome. If every host was like Bev and here family we would be batting 1000. Great Host.
Bev and Mike were fabulous hosts. They made me feel at home, and their lab/golden retriever was super friendly and a delight. The drive way is paved, but steep, and if you go slow you should be fine up to 25 feet or so, (maybe more). I'm 23 feet + bikes on the back make it 26 feet total length.
I parked by the shop, plugged in and was able to use their Wi-Fi. When you are on the road for a while, it is a privilege, and so nice to be able to charge all your devices, and have reliable Wi-Fi. Bev and Mike are super accommodating and supply an amazing base to explore the Tillamook Cheese Factory and the local State Parks and Beaches from. Highly recommended hosts.
