North Georgia Mountains, our cabin has a circular drive that you can park in. Up to 32’ will probably fit OK. We have a roof over to park under if our rv is not there. There is water available with FAUCET AT SITE. (Not in winter months when it may freeze) ELECTRIC MAY BE AVAILABLE FOR A SMALL DONATION. WIFI may only be available when we are there as we shut it off for winter. When on it can be accessed from porch, ask for passcode. SEE US OR OUR CARETAKER. Suggested Local Attractions:We are within 10 miles of the beginning of the APPALACIAN TRAIL. The Benton Mckay trail passes 3 miles from us. So lots of hiking opportunities. Also lots of waterfalls to check out. You can hike to the river and cross the swing bridge over the Toccoa river. It's 14 miles to downtown Blue Ridge, a town filled with antique stores, restaurants and a Railroad ride through the mountains to the next town along the river.

TWO RETIREES ESCAPING THE FLORIDA HEAT TRAVELING THE COUNTRY IN OUR RV. LOVING LIFE AND THE LORD Details: We are retired from 30 years in the real estate business and investing our time seeing the country we love. I served with the US Air Force then gave Ma Bell 13 years before venturing into building, investing, selling and managing real estate. Ruth was involved in the medical field for 6 years. I have been doing income taxes and Honey-Do projects and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in Ga. We do some mission work with an RV group called the SOWERS for churches and charity organizations, mostly in Florida in the winters. We travel with our Yorky and 5 or 6 box turtles in our 30' Winnebago C class coach towing a Honda CR-V for running around. Will love to meet other members and spend time in their areas as we explore the states along the way. Home Town: Titusville FL for winters and Blue Ridge GA in summer. Favorite Boondocking Locations: NORTH GA MOUNTAINS AT OUR CABIN AND VIRGINIA IN THE LYNCHBURG AREA. ON THE ROAD WE HAVE FOUND THAT CRACKER BARRELS ARE GREAT PLACES TO STAY AND CLOSE TO THE INTERSTATES. WALMARTS ARE GOOD TOO WHEN WE ARE JUST MOVING THROUGH. Had wonderful communication with the very welcoming host (even though absent). Found some walks would not otherwise have found. Thank you for sharing Ed and Ruth

Wonderfully place to park for the night. The title says it all, the only downside was some of the roads you take to get here or leave. Not bad if you take your time. Google maps did take us home on a very curvy stretch of gravel road, but that is no reflection on the host. Ed and Ruth were very friendly and great communicators. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Ed & Ruth's spot is a nice quiet location to simply relax or to work remotely thanks to the wifi connection. It's located on a dead-end road so it is a great place to walk your dogs. Unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity to meet Ed & Ruth.

no service spot in the blue ridge mtns that truly allows you to disconnect and be. ed and ruth are so kind and lovely, though we had not met them. it’s a spot we will absolutely be at in the future.

Ed and Ruth were so incredibly kind and welcoming. Our first morning, Ed brought us down some warm pumpkin bread that Ruth just pulled out of the oven. it was Incredible. will definitely return when we head up north Georgia again!
