It is on 18 acres 8 miles N of new caney with a few trees
Camping without hookups is free.
If you want hookups, the rate is $12.00 per night. I have permission from Boondockers Welcome administrators to charge for hookups because you have an option to boondock for free.
Four night stay with Olga and Tommy - had wrong address, so took awhile to connect, but we did. They came out to flag us down and welcome us as it was almost dark by the time we got there. We had plenty of room and full hookups - did pay $12.00 a night, but, for us, it was worth it. Tommy and Olga have been full time RVers in the past, so are very knowledgeable about the lifestyle, and they are both very hard workers. We did not spend much time on the property as we had friends in the area we were visiting, but we sure did appreciate their warm welcome and helpfulness!
We were able to stay at this location 3 nights early this month. These are the most gracious hosts we could possibly ask for. They both made us feel very welcome and we plan to come back in the future. Thanks to them.
This couple was very gracious, we stayed for a week while getting my brother in law into Houston Methodist for a lung transplant. would highly recommend this place to fellow boondockers mstrshop1
We were thrilled with the beautiful site and helpful hosts. Really only slept there but would love to stay again some time
We had a nice stay and would have stayed longer if the weather would have been better. We met nice people, including the hosts, we would love to have had more time with. It's nice that there is both the option of boondocking, as there is the option of using hook ups.
We absolutely loved staying at this gorgeous 20-acre site. It's truly beautiful and spacious. on top of that, our hosts were incredibly hospitable and kind. If you're ever in Houston, don't miss out on this amazing place!
We actually never met Tommy face to face, but he's real character and next time we'll sit around the fire and swap stories. Beautiful grounds with lots of room to maneuver. Great location for day-trips into Houston, or a respite from the road.
