Retired RV couple enjoying the lifestyle Details: Prior to February 2000 my husband was an Avionics Engineer for over 30 years and I had my own business. We both retired in 2000 and left out a couple of days later to travel full time. We thoroughly loved doing that. We did that for eight years before we needed to stay closer to home due to medical issues. We are hoping to hit the road again part time before too long. The last few years we have traveled a lot, but would return to home base for a period of time before going out again. Home Town: We live in a rural area close to Andover, KS. We are about 8 miles from the city of Wichita. Favorite Boondocking Locations: When we travel we don't always know where we are headed or how long we will stay. We start out with a general plan, but are usually open to changing those plans depending on new information from fellow campers, or information from a rest stop as we enter a new state, or a local Chamber of Commerce that we stumble across. We love to winter in Arizona as we have two grown grandchildren living in the Phoenix area. We love to go North in the summer and east or west in the Spring or Fall. We love the scenic locations, especially with a lake nearby and trees to sit under and read a good book if we are just having a leisurely day at the rig. Skills or Expertise to Share: My husband is pretty handy with wiring problems and satellite TV issues. I enjoy cooking, especially making bread and cinnamon rolls.

Louis and I really enjoyed our stay at Audrey L’s. She made us homemade cinnamon rolls and rolls! The first time our host baked for us and spent the rest of the day outside visiting with us! We invited them to have brats as we continued to visit. Found out they used to be fulltime Rvers and belonged Boondockers until it became HH. Was so grateful for 50amp power with the heat.

We were delayed due to a snow storm and the hosts were so kind and encouraging as we contacted them with updates along the way. Great 50A service and level driveway. We would definitely come here again.
