I live in an older neighborhood with easy access to main roads. My driveway is basically level and I can provide house current (15 amp). There are many trees so a big motorhome would find it difficult to maneuver but a Class B or C would do just fine.
none other than common sense and respect for the neighbors.
my neighbors both have large motorhomes in their driveway so I suppose there would be no difficult with the road conditions. There are trees which would be a hinderance for a unusually high profile.
parking along the street on my lawn is fine if the rig can not be backed into the driveway. It is a residential location.
we are retired so are home most of the time, unless we are rving ourselves.
nc state fair grounds. Triangle area has many attractions from academic to cultural.
Jim is such a gracious and friendly host. My wife and I had a terrific evening with him listening to his stories of his career and RV adventures. We highly recommend calling Jim anytime you are in the Raleigh area.
This was our first experience using Boondockers Welcome and it was a very wonderful experience. Being newbies to the RV lifestyle we were able to learn so much from our hosts own experiences. They were very accommodating and it was great meeting them. Definitely have plans to return. It was a very safe and secure area. Thanks!
We had a wonderful time at Jim's home! He was very helpful communicating prior to our arrival with quick response times!
His driveway had ample room to park, and he was gracious to offer both water and electric hookups. He also welcomed us into his home, offered drinks, as well as use of his bathroom and shower.
We had wonderful comversations, and a great time getting to know Jim as he welcomed us like family members. Thanks for the fantastic evening, Jim!
We stayed overnight with them and had a great experience with our first boondocking. Could not have asked for anything better. Greeted Don and I with open arms, had great conversations and a good nights sleep. Thanks to them and this site. Hope to repay the favor when they travel South.
